“Authentic Italian apartment in a perfect location”
Reviewed 19 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We arrived back last night from a very short and wet stay in Rome. Having stayed there many times before as a family this time we decided to try an apartment as there were only two of us. From the moment I made contact with Lucia, the owner, everything went to plan. She is a charming efficient lady and organised a taxi for us and met us at the apartment with lots of information. The apartment is very clean and we were left a tray of essentials. The location was perfect for us as the train station in only a short walk as is the bus stop. There are coffee shops and food stores within a short walk. Try the bar at the bottom of the street the coffee and pastries are great and all the Italian commuters call in for their morning coffee which is always a good sign. We were able to get to the Vatican early and beat the queues as it is only 10 minutes away. Lastly the apartment building has a roof top from which you have fantastic views. If you want to be near the city but also feel like you are out of the hustle and bustle this is a great location.

Lucia makes the travel apartment rental business everything it should be; from the spot on communication in the booking process, through the welcome tour and much appreciated goodies for hungry travellers who arrive late/tired, to the arrangement of our departure taxi despite an email failure on my part. Having stayed elsewhere in Rome previously, the service here was far superior and the customers are valued rather than an inconvenience after payment is made. Thank you, Lucia.

The property is well maintained, spotlessly clean, and the view is even better than it looks in the photos. Everything from the terrazzo floors to the modern kitchen and bathroom speaks to an apartment that is lovingly finished, and we really did not want to leave.

The location really pays off for those wishing to visit St. Peters, since it was a short walk to get to the square before 8am which pays the dividend of a 10 minute wait for security instead of the 2-3 hours you can expect after 10am and all day. Also, if you're doing the Vatican Museum on the same day, get the reserved tickets before leaving St. Peters.

There are a number of great restaurants in the local area, catering to all budgets. I San Petrini was best for english speakers with fantastic food, and I Quattro Mori was excellent as well, particularly if you love seafood and haven't eaten all day (so much food).

The WiFi connection was fast and reliable, the hot water seemed endless (we had 3 showers in a row and did washing up), even the white goods were top notch.

We will definitely be back.
