Perfect Roman Visit

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 3 weeks agovia mobile
My wife and I stayed 4 nights on the way to a conference. Having last been in Italy in 1983, I knew very little about Rome and stumbled on this Hotel reading a blog. What a find.

For us the location was perfect, right in the heart of Rome and everything is walkable. Everyday in the square is a market and restaurants.

The Hotel is beautiful from the outside, we saw many people taking pictures of it. We were greeted by Valentina and Irwin on a Saturday morning after a long flight. They were very friendly and helpful, our room would be ready in about 45 min so we walked to the Piazza Navina and Pantheon.

The room was on the small side, but clean and comfortable. Roomy enough for us. The shower was superb with great pressure, great towels, and pillows. The 'double' bed was actually 2 twins pushed together which was our only complaint, but I think pretty common. Not sure they could have fit a larger mattress up the stairs.

The roof deck is lovely and they bring you cocktails if you wish. Great views of the city including St. Peter's. All the staff was very friendly and helpful with dinner ideas and sightseeing ideas.

Would definitely stay here again.

My only choice everytime I am in Rome,
Look no further ! From the moment k step through the door I know I am at home.
10 out of 10 customer service.
A special thank you to Erwin who was fantastic at making sure my stay was complete, he arranged a better room for my second night in the floor I wanted.
I Will definitely come back again and again.
Great choice ! Great location! Great service !

Cannot rate this hotel high enough. We have just spent the most wonderful few days in Rome. This was our first visit so wanted to be based in a location that gave us easy access to all of the main attractions. Valentina and her colleagues could not do enough for us to ensure we had a fantastic time, from booking tour guides, restaurant recommendations and booking taxi’s nothing was too much trouble, everyone was so friendly it felt like we were staying with family. I would really recommend booking a tour guide when visiting places like the Vatican City and colosseum. The roof top terrace is an ideal place for an early evening drink and a great view of the city. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed, in spite of being located on a busy piazza it is very quiet in the rooms. I have travelled to many countries and stayed in many hotels this is one of the best, I can’t rate it high enough. I can’t wait until we can visit again

An enjoyable stay at this hotel. It is very well positioned for exploring the city. Our room was not overly spacious, but it was well appointed and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The area is also not as busy as some of the other parts of Rome, so it provides a more peaceful setting.

We travel extensively, and I have mixed reviews about this one. The location at Campo di Fiori cannot be beat. Despite the bustling area, there is no outside noise in the room. The problem is the inside noise! It’s an ancient building with incredibly loud hallways and scraping of rooftop furniture.

In addition to the noise, the tiny double bed was problematic. The room was incredibly cramped. And, the lack of a properly functioning air-conditioning unit made sleep difficult. We frequently enjoy the charm of renovated historic buildings, but this one just was not comfortable.

The car that we arranged through the hotel to pick us up at the airport no showed.

Nothing was the fault of the kind staff. Just make sure this accommodation suits your needs before you book.

This was a very nice hotel in a great location, with an awesome rooftop. Erwin at the front desk was great, he was super helpful, very friendly, and gave great advice/tips for Rome. The rooms were very well done and comfortable. Overall a great experience.
