Wonderful Staff and Hospitality

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 4 weeks ago
We stayed in Hotel Campo di Fiori’s apartment the first week of September 2024. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thank you to Adam and Antonio for their generous hospitality, prompt service and communication, and friendliness. Can’t recommend this hotel enough for the staff and location!

Great location in the heart of Rome's historic area. Easy walking distance to everything historic. Great staff and easy to book airport private van or taxi at the front desk. It's expensive but worth it. Third time in Rome and spent 10 days at this hotel.

This hotel is in a fabulous location, in the heart of Rome. 5 minutes walk to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, about 20 minutes to the Colosseum in 1 direction and the Vatican in the other.
We stayed in one of the apartments, which was located in another building. We were a bit dubious when being led to the apartment as it was in a building covered by scaffolding but the apartment itself had been nicely renovated and had a lot of character. There was a small lift in the building so we didn’t need to always take the stairs.
The apartment was spacious but being away from the main hotel building meant we never visited the hotel again between check in and check out as there was no reason to. There was a lovely roof top terrace at the hotel but it was easier and cheaper to have a drink at one of the many restaurants in the square than go up to the terrace when we weren’t physically staying at the hotel. I think if I’d been staying in the hotel building, I’d have used the terrace more.
The staff were friendly and helpful and booked airport transfers for us.

This hotel has a superb location, tidy and comfortable rooms (and good mattresses and linens), excellent breakfast and, most of all, a very professional and nice staff. Although located in a crowdy area it is very quiet inside. It also sports a nice terrace on the rooftop with a breathtaking view of Rome, where you can sip your Prosecco or read a book in peace. Definitively recommended.

Hotel Campo de Fiori is a charming locally owned hotel that we found to be familial and accommodating. In a tightly knit neighborhood, far enough off the Campo to be quiet and restful, but close enough to enjoy its early morning atmosphere and bustle. More than anything else it allowed us to imagine ourselves as 18th century poets inspired by the ancients. The rooftop terrace is a perfect spot to catch the sunset before dinner.
