Woman has her Lizzie McGuire moment in Rome

I travelled here solo (F, 29) and it was lovely! The staff is lovely, there’s plenty to eat nearby, very close to the taxis, and there’s even a farmers market around the corner. The bedrooms are so comfy and plenty of A/C to keep you cool at night :) so cute & would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and loved the location - centrally located and we were able to walk to all of the major sites. Our family of four stayed in one of the annex apartments. The apartment was across the plaza from the main hotel and did not share the same decor as the hotel, but was very spacious and comfortable with great amenities. The rooftop terrace of the main hotel had a "Wow" factor. We enjoyed drinks in the evening - service was superb. Staff was professional and friendly.... many thanks to all, especially Adam and Valentina. (Had a slight issue with our accommodation, however, it did not take away from our stay; Valentina addressed the issue seamlessly and to our satisfaction - many thanks!) The tours booked through the hotel were fabulous! We highly recommend Silvia and Virginia - they were informative, buoyant and their love of Rome was very apparent. We stayed for 4 nights - only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Will be back to the Hotel De Fiori in the summer of '26! Thank you to all....

We have visited Rome many times over the past 15 years and I have now discovered my absolute favourite hotel. I know sometimes visitors can be put off staying by a busy area such as Campo de Fiori, but trust me when I say that this hotel is a calm oasis of quality, comfort and quiet. The rooms are beautifully decorated, they are quiet, cool and relaxing . So you get to stay in a thriving central location without compromising on high standards. So you have the convenience of grabbing a coffee, gelato or a great meal in a few minutes from the hotel on those days when you are tired after a long day seeing the sights. Then there is the service, from the moment I walked in and spoke to Erwin and Valentina, I felt at home, they are so genuinely friendly and welcoming. The whole team at the hotel were efficient and caring, they made our stay effortless. Finally I have searched for years to find the perfect view of Rome and now I have found it on the rooftop terrace at this hotel. I watched the sunset on the last night of our stay and I knew we would be returning time and time again., it’s perfect in every way.

Room tip: Plan to watch the sunrise and sunset on the roof terrace.

A beautiful finishing touch to 2 weeks in Italy. Boutique Hotel Campo de Fiori welcomed me with a personal touch by Erwin and Lorenzo at the front desk who answered my questions and gave me great dinner recommendations. Strategically located within 15 mins from Roma Termini train station where I grabbed a taxi. And within an hour of my arrival, I was up on the rooftop with a cocktail and just in time for a gorgeous Roman sunset. Great views !!! The room itself was charming, beautiful, comfortable. I wish I could’ve stayed more than one night, but needed to get back home. Erwin set me up with private transport to Fiumicino Airport and the driver showed up early, perfectly. An end to a wonderful stay and memorable time in Italy. Mille Grazie!!!

From start to finish, our stay at Boutique Hotel Campo De Fiori was exceptional. Great value, in a memorable location- but what elevates this venue is the magnificent Valentina. She arranged details with characteristic skill and warmth. Don’t miss the chance to experience this place.

Room tip: Don’t miss Al Biscione Cafe for English breakfast or an aperitif and Pancrazio for dinner- just across the way.

The annex apartment was functional but lacked charm and overpriced. I suspect the positive reviews pertain to the hotel rooms.

Airbnb is a much better way to go. Had only we known!

Luckily we stayed only one night. I’d be very careful before booking the apartment for longer.

Dear Mark,

Thanking you for your contribution I wish to point out all our apartments are different, yet all of them are designed to represent a typical Roman apartment so as to let our guests experience a life of us locals. They are also provided with a fully equipped kitchen so you may try some recipes while buying fresh produce from the next door farmer’s market. Moreover, they provide lots of space and are particularly indicated for those travelling with family. Not to mention the building where you were allocated, dates back to 1462, hence it was built 30 years prior to the discovery of America, when ceilings were built much lower and people were considerably shorter, yet they’re all provided with all modern standards such as double sound proof windows, strong AC and Wi-Fi to name a few.

Having said the above, you have made a reservation on a partner website on the very same day of your arrival for a last minute offer in the middle of the high season which you still describe as overpriced while clearly you would not be allocated in one of our top end apartments as compared to someone who has reserved well ahead of time for a longer than one night stay, alas, seeing your other not so flattering reviews seems your lack of appreciation is not uncommon.

A traveler without observation is a bird without wings.

Warm regards
The Manager
