What a fab Boutique Hotel. I was impressed by the location, the decor, cleanliness, and roof top terrace giving you a 360 degree view of Rome, the beautiful rennaisance decorated rooms and most of all...the great staff!!!! warm , friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast area was impressive too! Beautiful silver wear and delicate pastries. Every major tourist site was within walking distance too! I would highly recommend this hotel. A must if you are looking for a great hotel in Rome. Thank you for a fantastic stay! :)

Dear Guest,
I was truly impressed with your terminology.
A direct but modern vocabulary that is pleasing to read and yet very expressive. It is also pleasing to read as well that you were so alert on all that was surrounding you. From your first phrase, “What a fab Boutique Hotel.” With this soft introduction but to the point, one already understands that the hotel is more than just a Boutique Hotel but has many extraordinary aspects. You also caught the meaning of all that the hotel is and is surrounded with, “I was impressed by the location, the decor, cleanliness, and roof top terrace giving you a 360 degree view of Rome, the beautiful rennaisance decorated rooms and most of all…...the great staff!!!! warm , friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.” Warm words but to the point. A pleasure to read and to answer.
Even with our breakfast lounge you have made major observations, “. The breakfast area was impressive too! Beautiful silver wear and delicate pastries.“ Our lounge is located in an area which dates back to the 1200’s so you can imagine the historical aspect which it has.
You also refer to our location, “Every major tourist site was within walking distance too! I would highly recommend this hotel.” I read between the lines that your experience with us was not just a normal vacation but has left a piece of Rome in you making your stay a real experience and this is what we strive to achieve. Also indicated by you, “ I would highly recommend this hotel. A must if you are looking for a great hotel in Rome. Thank you for a fantastic stay! :) and your title, ““You have to stay here!”
I answer thank you for a fantastic and fun reading review. Hope that we may have you as our guest in the future.
Warmest regards,
F. Severino

Just moved from the hotel campo de fiori after 3 nights. We had an unbelieving stay the staff answer any questions and if they are in able they are quick to find the answer for you. The location is just a short walk to all of Rome's major site. The Campo de Fiori will be our hotel of choice for future trips to Rome.

Dear Guest,
Your words, “We had an unbelieving stay”
bring your experience with us over the normal expectations and this has a special significance for us meaning it will remain with you as a lifelong positive and joyful stay. For us, we believe that our guests while remaining with us are to receive not only a vacation but make it a cultural stay as well filling their cultural baggage as much as possible. You do state, “the staff answer any questions and if they are in able they are quick to find the answer for you.”
Our location makes your stay as well a special experience being so centrally located and close to all the major sights and this is important making it possible that you have more sightseeing time available and not spending it on reaching the historical areas. “The location is just a short walk to all of Rome's major sites. The Campo de Fiori will be our hotel of choice for future trips to Rome,” as quoted by you! Concluding with as your title shows, “Awesome hotel”. Thank you for the “Awesome”, we do our best.

Best Regards,

We stayed there in June with a group. The hotel was wonderful, and without exception the staff was friendly. The rooftop terrace was the best and it became the evening meeting place for our group. The room and bath were not large, but were perfect and suited us just fine. My husband and I arrived for breakfast the first morning at 645, not realizing breakfast was not served until 730. Despite our error, we were warmly welcomed and promptly made to feel comfortable.
Can't wait to go back. Location is fabulous and hotel is first rate.

Dear Guest,
“Wonderful hotel”
Your review for us is very important coming from guests that were part of a group. This has a major significance since the whole group was truly happy with their stay with us and as we all know this is very difficult when you have to do with groups having many types of necessities and various wants. You do indicate,
“The hotel was wonderful, and without exception the staff was friendly.”
Aside the facilities which you refer to so positively, “The rooftop terrace was the best” and “The room and bath were not large, but were perfect and suited us just fine.” , we do our utmost so that our guests receive more than just a normal hosting as you have written, “My husband and I arrived for breakfast the first morning at 645, not realizing breakfast was not served until 730. Despite our error, we were warmly welcomed and promptly made to feel comfortable.”
We are also pleased to read that we have remained in your thoughts as following, “Location is fabulous and hotel is first rate and “Wonderful hotel”.. Thank you for such fine words and tyou say you can’t wait to come back but we say we can’t wait to have you with us again!

Warmest Regards,
F. Severino

We spent two nights in September of 2012 at the end of cruise--in short the location puts you in the heart of Rome on the edge of an square that is active daily with a market and dining--it is a reasonable walk of a half hour or less to all of the major sites in the city from this hotel--our room had old world charm with plenty of storage and a comfortable bed--the beautiful bathroom was totally updated and fully equipped--the roof top deck is outstanding with a 360 degree view of the city and words and pictures can not really do it justice--the breakfast was very complete and location in the lower level cozy--the staff was friendly and very helpful with all of our requests. In short it was an outstanding experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Rome.

Room Tip: Upper level rooms have private outdoor balconies but with the very large multi-level roof top deck t...

Dear Guest,
“This hotel is the best of all worlds in Rome”
What a review referring that we are the best in all the worlds meaning for all tastes and habits! Infact, our facilities as well as our personnel have an international culture experience and when one stays with us aside from the guests you can feel the international part of our staff either being from or having visited all of the major countries in the world and this personnel experience helps to be able to understand the necessities and the wants of all of our guests. You do indicate, “staff was friendly and very helpful with all of our requests.”
Our location which is always vanted by all of our guests is truly unbeatable and is a real extra treat to all putting you right in the centre of all of the hustle and bustle of what this Eternal City has to offer! Imagine you walk out of the door of the hotel, you turn right and you almost walk right into the famous Campo dè Fiori! A 20 minute walk to the famous Saint Peters Square where one can admire the famous Plaza designed by, Gian Lorenzo Bernini from 1656 to 1667, while the Basilica of Siant Peters’ is designed by Bramante as well as Michelangelo and this is a feat in itself! Then let’s not forget the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican Museum which is a sight that is not to miss! The Colosseo which is also a 20 minute walk from the hotel is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World which hosted for it’s games over 50,000 people just like today’s stadiums, and is a short distance away! The list goes on and on and just for this reason a stay with us is such an experience.
Our rooms are all elegantly furnished leaving the modern amenities which today we are all use to such as, free wifi, a/c, flat lcd tvs and the list goes on and on….as you state, “our room had old world charm with plenty of storage and a comfortable bed--the beautiful bathroom was totally updated and fully equipped.
We believe that when our guests leave they are not just to have a pleasant vacation but to have a lifetime experience which will enrichen there cultural luggage as well as personnel experiences. Infact, you do state, “In short it was an outstanding experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Rome. Thank you for the review and for, “the best of all worlds in Rome!”

I found this hotel by logging on to tripadvisor.com and looking up hotels in Rome. I started at number 1 looking for a hotel that I could afford, and I stopped at Hotel Campo De' Fiori (which was ranked 10th in Rome at the time).

For a man who travels 50 weeks a year for business all over America staying in cookie cutter business chains, this was a pleasurable relief. It's quaint, up-dated but keeping its old-world charm. There can't be more than 20 rooms in the hotel, so the front desk staff (always manned) knows you.

The rooms are beautiful, interesting, and up-to-date.

The best feature of this hotel was its location. It is adjacent to the Piazza Campo De' Fiori. What used to be Rome's old flower market, persists today as a daily market of oils, spices and coffees. The piazza has a half dozen restaurants with outdoor seating. There is a small liqueur and sundry shop, and a gelato restaurant, all in the same square. The hotel is within walking distance to every place in Rome worth seeing from the Colosseum to the Vatican to the Spanish Steps, the Fountain of Trevi and the quiet neighborhood of Tratevere.

Room Tip: Our room faced a little courtyard. Sometimes there was some noise, but it also gave us something to...

Dear guest,
Reading that you selected us from the Tripadvisor review list and about your traveling experiences (50 weeks a year for work) 40 reviews + Reviews in 19 cities and to receive from you a 5 point review is a real achievement having such a wide and deep experience with hotels and there hosting. Just to be precise, today, we are number 9 on Tripadvisor!
I appreciated your description from, “this was a pleasurable relief”, “quaint, up-dated but keeping its old-world charm.”, “rooms are beautiful, interesting, and up-to-date.”” best feature of this hotel was its location” , “front desk staff (always manned) knows you.” Etc…
These compliments coming from you are like receiving many being a traveler and being able to judge properly the facilities as well as the staff. Receiving from you a 5 point review is max for us. As Joseph Hall an English Clergyman, Born July 1, 1574 quoted, “Perfection is the child of time.” And we have taken time to renovate the hotel taking 3 years to do so even if the time was to be 2 years but we wanted that all would be as close as possible to perfect as well as selecting our personnel which has taken years and all are at the level we desired with University degrees and a vast historical knowledge as well as a knowledge of Rome’s best trattorias and pizzerias! Just ask and we will be able to suggest and resolve all. Thank you once again for the kind words and hope to have you as our guest once again.
Warmest regards,
F. Severino
