“Great location, rooftop terrace”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2012

I found this hotel o Tripadvisor and was very pleased. The location is excellent, the piazza is bustling and charming, walking distance to most everything. the rooms are all different, small but nice. You can buy wine and cheese and enjoy on the pretty rooftop terrace. Lovely moderate priced boutique hotel, loved it!

Dear guest,
“Great location, rooftop terrace”
two aspects which are fundamental for the outcome of your holiday
When coming to Rome, it is extremely important to choose a location which give you the opportunity to explore the city in the best way possible. Campo de’ Fiori allows you to do this.
From the morning, you enjoy the daily market of fruits and vegetable being surrounded with roman culture and atmosphere, proceeding to Trastevere, a mediaeval neighbourhood which transmits you a sense of Roman life also famous for many local Trattorias and restaurants.
At the end of the day, the unbeatable view of our rooftop terrace, lets you relax in a private and charming atmosphere.
Looking forward to see you
Regards
F.Severino

Hotel Campo di Fiori has everything going for it: great location, friendly and helpful staff, unobtrusive service, quiet rooms. The decor is a bit "novo bordello" but it adds to the charm and the rooftop terrace was a fantastic way to end each day (bring your own bottle of wine, no service is available). I'd go back immediatamente.

I can't believe that I booked a hotel in a foreign country in an unknown area all online and that we got so lucky! I will never go to Rome and stay somewhere different. The location of this hotel is incomparable-- the perfect mix of locals & tourists. We walked everywhere and saw all of the main sights in three days. The daily market in the piazza is perfect (try the pomegranate juice). Our room was so gorgeous that I hesitated to leave every morning...splurging for the terrace is BEYOND necessary. The breakfast was quaint and welcoming with not a huge selection but just the right amount. The guest service was top notch although I knew it would be long before our vacation because Valentina was so accommodating via Facebook. I was blown away!

We enjoyed our three night stay in this hotel in July 2012.
Pros:
1) Unique Decor
2) Delicious Buffet Breakfast
3) Awesome multi-tiered terrace
4) Helpful, very nice staff
5) Large soundproof rooms
6) Free wireless internet
7) Great location - walking distance to all tourist sights
Cons:
1) A/C needs to be on for a while before room cools. Cannot keep A/C on when you leave the room.
2) Balcony was very small with no chairs and view is only of another wall.
3) Expensive - we paid 220 euros per night

Room Tip: We stayed in room 304 - excellent room but very small balcony. Not sure if the other rooms have bet...

If you want to experience Rome, I highly recommend the Hotel Campo De' Fiori. The staff was wonderful, the rooms beautiful and the views from the roof top are exceptional. The location is fantastic, centrally located and you get a real flavor of Rome away from the bustle of the most popular tourist attractions. Breakfast was fantastic and was plenty to get our day started off in a great mood. We just returned and wish so much we could do it all over and stay again!
