Stumbled across this restaurant by accident and thought we would pop in for a cheap, quick meal as we were tired and hungry.

The menu is only in Italian but the waitress was very helpful and talked us through the various dishes.

The food came quickly and was amazing!

Between 3 of us for two courses each with wine and coffee, the bill was €60, a real bargain!

Would highly recommend this restaurant!

A delicious meal for a family of four, including some wine and a couple deserts that we shared, came in at less than 100 euros. The welcome was warm with an on-the-spot translation of the menu to assist us in deciding on our meal choices.

I have never had such amazing pasta as the Pasta Carbonara I enjoyed at this restaurant. It was amazing. My dining companions enjoyed their pastas, salads and side dishes.

Well worth a visit.

After visiting Borghese gallery we came here for late lunch. All locals and menu is simple and straight forward. We had -

Bean soup- nice and hearty
Mushroom risotto- excellent
Pork tenderloin - good
Veal cutlet - good

No English menu, and very reasonable price. A local favorite that's been around for over 100 years ran by family.

We were staying at a hotel across the street and our host recommended the place. The food and wine were very good and the service was excellent.
We ate pasta at first and after that chicken with some green stuff (ciceria, I don't know what it's called in English). The ciceria wasn't my cup of tea but it definitely was real Roman food. For dessert we had cheesecake which was a great finish for our meal. In my opinion the prices were low.
The thing that made me give "only" four stars is that the staff doesn't speak English very well and the menus are not available in English. But on the other hand this is very traditional restaurant.

So if you are looking for a traditional place to eat with reasonable prices, this is your place!
