“Total worthless Service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 May 2012

The hotel seems to be okay but the service when something goes wrong is totally useless. Some people have totally misunderstood how to deal with dissatisfied customers. I have lived in several century hotel in Rom and this was one of the worst experiences. It did not make things better that it is very sensitive from the street and problems with the environment at the hotel.

It was a pleasure to spend 3 nights at this hotel. The service was exceptional, the rooms very comfortable, clean. The staff are quick and helpful. My only issue was the wifi service. Most hotels its a quick and painless process to get the password and you're connected. Hotel Mascagni only give you an hour access at a time, and you need to access a particular data address etc etc. when you just want to quickly check the weather or send a short email it becomes a lot of hassle. But, if Internet access is not a priority then I highly recommend it, they helped make our stay in Rome very memorable.

This is a very good clean hotel with good complete breakfasts everyday. Very helpful staff all speaking English. Location is great -- central to most areas of interest, shopping and restaurants. Right across the street from the St. Regis Le Grand Hotel.

Only reason it didn't get a 5 star is that some rooms lack a shower and the internet is strict sign on with only two "hot spots" in lonuge areas of the hotel.

A rather small hotel with one tiny elevator, that only can fit 4 people or 4 luggages. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are like the hotel, not much space. The beds are great and very comfortable. The area around the hotel is not that busy so it's pretty quite at night. Even though they are a tiny hotel, overall is great, BUT their WiFi sucks! If you want to use WiFi, you cannot stay inside your room, but to come to the lobby and ask for a slip with username and password for login. This only lasts for ONE hour, so if you want to use the WiFi longer than 1 hour, remember to ask for few extra slips. I will recommend here because it's location. 3 minutes of walking to the nearest MetroBus.

I stayed with them two times. 1.on Christmas with friends 2. In spring with mom. We had And superior room with bslcony, and standard. All wonderful, cozy rooms. Very clean! They have MAGICAL staff! Really good breakfast! Most important-is hot! A lot of baking, meats, cheeses, fruits, different cereals, coffe, tee. Good location. In the same building ( not in hotel) there is magical kafe-shop with different sweets ;) in two minutes -metro, in 5-10 minutes railstation, all the attractions nearby. We did not use transport, even the Vatican can be reached quickly on the streets of Rome with their beautiful squares and fountains.
