Hotel Cortina was recommended to my family (12 of us) by a local, and it was perfect. Walkable to anywhere in Rome. Great, helpful staff. Nice size rooms, especially for a big city, QUIET, clean, and comfy. Nice breakfast. Great price for all that!

Room Tip: If you have any large persons in your party, request a room with a tub shower instead of the Europen...

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cortina. The staff was helpful and the rooms were large (for a big city) clean and quiet. We were about 4 blocks from the metro and 2 blocks from our favorite bus line--170. The neighborhood is pretty upscale, but the restaurants are better if you get a few blocks away. There is a wonderful grocery store across the street and about 3 blocks down (toward Trajan's needle) where we picked up goodies and ate in our room. Breakfasts in the hotel are fairly good.

Comfortable and cozy room, clean and tidy. Great location on Via Nazionale, within walking distance to main train station Termini and most visitor's attractions. Fresh continental breakfast were served to make us full. Mr. Milana and staffs speaks fluent English and provide friendly and helpful services. They gave knowledgable travelling advices that was more convenient for our route planning. We enjoy our trip and had a pleasant stay in Rome partly because of the right decision we made on this accomodation. Highly recommended Hotel Cortina!

We stayed in Hotel Cortina in Rome last week and had a great experience. We had an apartment for my family. (my spouse and two daughters) The apartment is perfect for a family with lots of Rome to spread out. The rooms were large with a common sitting area, kitchen and two large bathrooms. The apartment was clean, comfortable and affordable. Breakfast was fine, coffee, juice, pane, cheese, meat. The staff was great and Angelo Milana was extremely helpful whenever we needed something. Angelo is a cyclist, I'm sending him one of my local cycling club jerseys.

The hotel is walking distance from the train stations and a 15-20 minute to most major attractions. Cabs are easy to catch at the taxi stands. The meto is just a few blocks away.

Room Tip: The apartment is around the corner from the main hotel on a quiet side street. It was perfect for a...
