Fantastic location. Close to Via Veneto but away from the traffic noise. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was great. Our room was very nice and impeccably clean.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in April 2012 together with friends. The hotel is located a few steps up from via Veneto close to Hard Rock Cafe. Not far from Barberini or Spanish Steps. Our junior suite was very nice, huge bed and sitting area. It also had a very nice sunny balcony. Staff was very nice.
This was myt 6th visit to Rome, and I will be back (tossed a coin in the Trevi fountain this time too!). It might well be to this hotel.

Great place to stay, the location is close to a metro stop. The receptionroom is in avery classy style, neat and tiedy. The staff is friendly and helpfull. We went to Rome for the six nations game, went tto the stadion for Scotland - Itlay. Later we went to the hotel bar, very elegant, various small rooms with leather armchairs. It is recommended to visit the bar not to late in the evening because its closing time.
All in all a great place stay, I would go back.

We took the bus shuttle from the airport and then picked up a taxi to take us to the hotel which took about an hour in all. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted very nicely and our luggage was taken up to our room which was on the first floor and overlooked the front of the hotel. The room was slightly outdated - the bathroom sadly was in need of refurbishment although everything worked satisfactorily. Our filter coffee machine didn't work but we were soon brought Nescafe instant which suited us well. The second day our TV wouldn' turn on and the mini bar wasn't cold which we reported and this was rectified almost immediately. Nothing was too much trouble although of course these hiccups shouldn't really occur in a 4 star hotel. The breakfast room was very comfortable although in my opinion the hot breakfast offerings should be taken away as for the three mornings we were there the food was always cold - such a shame and waste of food. Mushrooms, fried eggs, fried bread, baked beans, bacon, frankfurters and scrambled eggs were all on offer but it was all cold. Everything else offered was extremely good quality, fresh and tinned fruits, cheeses, hams, yogurts, cakes, jams, biscuits and cereals so you wouldn't go hungry. A very nice touch is the Friday evening cocktail party which my husband and I attended - it is from 18.30 and a very nice harpist was playing which was lovelly and relaxing to listen to after a long afternoon of touring around Rome. There were plenty of canapes on offer and we were offer two glasses of wine each so you don't have to have cocktails. All in all a very nice stay in Rome - very convenient for most of the sights. We did the tour bus with the two day ticket which was an excellent way of getting our bearings. The bed in our room was huge and very comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets if required.

Room Tip: We were in room 105 - we noticed on looking out of our windown that the room next to ours - room 104 had a little terrace with table and chairs which I would imagine in the summer would be very nice to sit out on

I stayed at this hotel one night before moving over to a much more expensive and prestigious one for business purposes. Moving to what was considered a higher end hotel made me realize what a great bargain La Residenza is!
At La Residenza I stayed in a suite on the 1st floor. It was very spacious with a sitting room that had doors that could be closed going in to the bedroom. Then there was a very small hallway with a closet that led in to the big bathroom. The decor in the room was somewhat outdated but it was clean and comfortable. The one let down was that this room had no out the windows at all, basically looking at a wall.
The staff was great and friendly. For a little more than it would cost to take a taxi, a member of the staff will pick you up from the airport and drive you the almost 30 minutes to the hotel. Our driver carried our luggage and loaded it into the car as well as unloaded it when we got to the hotel and had it sent to our room. He also spoke English well enough to point out some sights along the drive. After such a long flight it was nice not to have to navigate to find a taxi and explain where we wanted to go.
Breakfast every morning is included and, with prices in Rome being so expensive, it's a great thing to take advantage of. They had everything you could want in a breakfast and you could have a typical Italian or American meal. Upon request the breakfast room server will make you a fresh cup of cappicino as well.
The location is also a plus of this hotel as it was right around the corner from the one I stayed at next on Via Venato. It's an easy walk to the Spanish Steps and the Borghese Gardens.
Overall, great stay and was very impressed at the price considering how well it measured up to my next hotel!

Room Tip: I stayed on the first floor and there was virtually no view so I would expect higher up floor to have better scenery.
