I stayed 5 times already in this hotel and now I write from knowledge and experience, Hotel staff very friendly and willing to help every opportunity, a rich breakfast with a wide range of products for everyone, the rooms clean and tidy ,The hotel is located in a central area which allows to reach all the sites on foot without the need for travel and transportation expenses
Highly recommended

Good hotel in an excellent location in easy walking distance from many of Rome's best sights . Breakfast pretty good and rooms clean . However , for us its spoilt by a lack of air conditioning ! We were at the Regno for 5 nights in a very warm period ( lucky us ) . But the advertised air conditioning was not switched on and working . We did mention this 3 times on different nights to the front desk , excuses ranged from its broke to its actually not switched on during the night only the day ! For us it didn't work at any time during the stay . Only mention this as we were forced to sleep with balcony windows open so it was very noisy . Our room was top floor , superior with balcony .
So if you like air con in the hot summer beware ! Otherwise its fine .

Actually stayed at the hotel in November of 2009 with my wife. A room was booked at a very low rate (probably there was a promotion by booking.com). The room was excellent! Quite modern furniture, LCD TV, nice and clean bathroom. Everything was in perfect condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly - they even made a phone call on behalf on me to arrange transfer to an outlet since I don't speak Italian. The hotel is located right in the historic and shopping center of Rome - on via del Corso that is a main street of the city. Although windows were facing the street, traffic noise was not a problem at all. The hotel continental breakfast was fresh and quite plentiful. But ask for a cup of coffee at bar (counter) - coffe machine that stood in the breakfast compartment made terrible coffee. Everythinng is in a walking distance from the hotel - 20 min to Vatican, 5 min to Trevi fountain, 10-12 min to Colloseo. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel and would recommend it for a good vacation in Rome!

Room Tip: in the heart of Eternal City

I have to agree with all the reviews posted about the Hotel Regno - fantastic location and staff so helpful especially regarding online check-in for flites home. Our room was at front on 2nd floor and the only complaint is that it was noisy from road traffic with window open and very hot with window closed. The air conditioning could do with being upgraded as not very efficient and Rome was very hot the four days we were there! But I would totally recommend a stay at the hotel for anyone who is looking for good accomodation in an excellent location - and breakfasts were great too. Rome is amazing and cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: Dont book a room at the front of the hotel, unless you know the A/C is working well as its!!!

Exactly as other reviewers have descibed . A functional hotel , it has everything you would need especially a great lotion . So near to everything & we walked everywhere easily !
Continental Breakfast very fresh and plentiful , staff very helpful . Even checked us in and printed off our boarding passes . Wifi available too.
Rooms okay too
You do get what you pay for and I would stay here again for sure

Room Tip: Email the hotel in advance and request a nice room
