I chose this hotel as it was one of the hotels offered through Costco's travel page. I booked this hotel on my own. We stayed a total of 3 nights. The location was great for us as it was a short walk to Termini Station. We took the metro to the Vatican from Termini station and walked from our hotel to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Panthenon. The city map the hotel gave us was a must for us and helped us navigate around Rome. There are plenty of restaurants located nearby. The room was comfortable and met our needs.

Since we were going to use the train station a few times we wanted to be close.
This hotel is an easy 10 minute walk and taking luggage was simple on even flat surfaces.
The hotel has a spacious lobby with plenty of seats. The check in was easy and we were able to check in before noon. The room was large as was the bathroom. We don't usually find such space in Europe. Breakfast was very good in a large room.
You can walk to the Parthenon and Spanish Steps in a half hour. The Metro is also convenient at the train station.
Walking distance to many great restaurants.
Loved this hotel and would go back again. Great hotel at a reasonable price.

This hotel is situated very close to Roma Termini and is very convenient for travel to anywhere in Rome and other cities in Italy. Its location 2 streets away from the train station means it is not too noisy.
Rooms are of good size and beds are comfortable;similarly with he bathroom.

Room Tip: Higher floor

Hotel is conveniently located for many of the great sights in Rome (if you like a good walk). The staff is well trained and very courteous. The property is very clean. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate, but not fancy. Rooms are large and well appointed. Rooms that front the street can be a little noisy as the restaurant across the street stays open until 2-2:30am. There are several very good restaurants in the neighborhood. Good hotel for first time visitors to the Eternal City.

Stayed at Metropole 3 nights as part of a Monograms tour, check-in very smooth, comfortable beds, room decent size for a triple, nice bathroom.
Breakfast enough to get you going for the day, though coffee was disgusting, scrambled eggs were a little odd, they didn't look real. Still plenty of other things to choose from.
Location was fantastic, very close to termini, about 2 minutes by car.
Lots of little shops up streets, walking distance to many iconic sites.
Made us really appreciate it as a good hotel, especially when we changed tours we transferred to another hotel in industrial area which was about 35 minutes away by car and close to nothing. Would definitely stay at Metropole again.

Room Tip: Jump on a hop-on, hop-off bus, it will help you to find your bearings and you'll see some iconic sites along the way.
