It is a bit old and needs remodeling.
Originally we got a very small room and we asked to change and they did so without any problem, the next day, since they were full the first night.
The catch here i was that we left very early the next day (and we forgot about the move). The hotel staff took the initiative to move all of our luggage and things as we left them and placed them exactly in the same place into the new spacious room. Our passports and extra money stayed in the 1st room safe. When we got back we were very surprised and grateful that NOTHING was missing and the bell boy opened the original room (which had been already occupied) and we found our passport and money intact. A Very trustworthy staff MAKES IT A 5 STAR grade Hotel!!!
Plus it is very near the Vatican City, if visiting it.

Room Tip: If you are on a tour and you just sleep at the Hotel you do not need to pay for more.

Rooms clean but a bit dated. Hotel staff are very helpful. there is a Great buffet breakfast selection and nice to sit out in breakfast terrace if it's warm. Hotel is a 20 minute walk from Vatican City and museum. The Vatican museum is a must see in Rome, it's absolutely stunning.

Lovely staff who were always helpful and happy to do anything for you.The hotel itself was clean, tidy and comfortable, all you need when in Rome. The decor was rather tired and carpets had seen better days, but how often do you sit and stare at the carpet? All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Everything was falling apart like the doors were ruined, the lights tuned off every 10 minutes, the bathroom door didn't lock,we didn't have heat for the 3 out of 5 days, mediocre breakfast and rude staff except for two people.Worst hotel I've been to.

Very reasonably priced hotel, close to Vatican, decent breakfast, friendly staff but BEWARE THE STUDENTS!!!!! Back today from a 3 night stay but on each night we were kept awake until almost 2 AM by students, who were resident in the hotel, running along the corridors, banging on doors, shouting and generally being a nuisance. We complained as did others with little success. Just be warned!!
