...but enter the Colosseo is always exciting if not even thrilling!
Your childrens (mouth opened) will love to see it too!
Buy tickets online and you'll avoid the queue at the entrance.
Do you know that this year (2012) Roma celebrate its 2765 anniversary?!!! That's massive!
To avoid at all costs, in my opinion, the coarseness presence of the Centurioni (outside, a picture for $$); a tolerated presence difficult to understand.
Want a souvenir? Look the inside shops firsts, price are reasonable and books (also for children) are available in a lot of languages.
Generally speaking too much to see in Roma, tours' plans must be done attentively according to your preferences in advance. At least some historical/architectural info on what you'll like to visit and see will allow a better comprehension of the monuments, become familiar with the italian names you want to visit will help too, Internet will help a lot in that (for tickets and private tour too).
