Simply a treat. The decor is romantic and Italian to the core. The rooms offer high ceilings and the ones facing the square have a beautiful and monumental view of the Pantheon. The staff is very service minded and accommodating. They offer solid advise as to where to eat, drink and enjoy coffee. The breakfast is sublime and the one waiter makes the best coffee we had anywhere during our stay.
The area surrounding the hotel is buzzing with shops, restaurants and you are within easy walking distance from any where. If it's raining you can enjoy a nice gelato at one of the restaurants on the square and watch as street merchants give a lesson in supply and demand trying to sell their 5 EUR umbrellas for 15. Be smart and borrow one from the hotel they have plenty and are happy to accommodate.
While the decor is romantic and lush. I found the bed to be very hard and spent most of the first two nights dreaming of a top madras to take away the feeling of the springs. That being said wine is cheap and plenty...More
