This was not my first visit to this hotel, nor will it be my last. I have already booked my next trip for October 2012. It was the same friendly service, same clean hotel, and best location in Rome.
Splurge on the Penthouse Suite for the best terrace in the area!

Room Tip: Do yourself a favor and let them book your travel to and from the airport. It is cheaper, faster, an...

Stayed here recently for the second time (first was in 2010). Brought a couple friends for a fun girls weekend in Rome. I was very happy again with my choice. Now that I've stayed here more than once I will say that not every room is equal, and I think room variations from price level to price level are significant. Some hotels the price level difference between some rooms aren't huge, but this is a case where I think paying a bit more for the nicer room makes a difference. Not saying our room this time was bad, but the difference of the lower priced room (compared to our more expensive room on the last trip) was noted. Not just for the views, but the plushness of the rooms and the open feel of the pricier rooms that happen to come with good views (rooms at the back are dark). So I will continue staying here for each and every visit to Rome, but will go for the better rooms. This place is truly wonderful, a small luxury hotel in the very heart of the old city. So wonderful to step out into this beautiful square and be right in the heart of the more charming parts of the city. Lovely reception staff who are eager to please and greet you with warm hospitality.

My wife and I just completed a wonderful 8 night stay here in late April. What can I say that other reviewers haven't? Everything was perfect. Lucky to get a room overlooking the Pantheon. Very clean hotel; awesome location. Roof top bar: view to die for. Best part is the staff: exceedingly friendly and helpful. Everyone - from the front desk to maid service to bartenders - truly seemed to enjoy their jobs and helping guests have a great stay. Smiling faces all the time. We have never stayed at a hotel with this level of personal attention and service. Staff speaks excellent english and always makes you feel like your needs are important. For dinner recommendations, the front desk never missed a beat and every meal was fantastic. I remarked more than once to my wife that everyone seems to anticipate what you need before you ask. We'll be back, though not soon enough. You can't go wrong here.

This hotel was recommended to be by a friend in 2002 and I have always retained the info for when I visited Rome - which I did in 2012. It was an excellent choice. Centrally located "boutique" hotel adjacent the Pantheon. No evening meal options but breakfast good continental style. Smallish rooms - but expected in the City centre. Clean and well maintained. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Free wifi in the whole building (although tends to drop out now and then). Refurbished in classical style. Greta roof top terrace & bar (high season) overlooking the square.
I would definitely use this hotel again if visiting Rome.

Room Tip: Most rooms overlook the square - which can be lively at night so if you sleep with the windows open...

This is a small hotel on the square in front of the Pantheon. What a great location. Lots of people. Lots of buzz. Close to everything on its side of the river. The first night we sat in our room playing hearts and listening to a couple of guys singing opera solos for two hours. Only in Italy.

The staff are the friendliest most helpful people I have ever seen. The breakfast was great. Rooms are small but very nice.

One serious problem. The WiFi service is atrocious. They have to fix this.
