“Go in the morning for the market”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

We went to Campo de Fiori for its morning market twice during our week in Rome. It made us wish we were staying in a facility with a kitchen so we could purchase some of the food and prepare our own meal. Even so, it is a pleasant place to stroll in the morning and peruse the fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers.

“Depends on what time you go”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

In the morning there is a market of fruit and vegetables, very typical and authentic scenario. At night, VERY crowded by tourists and locals. The square and the area are full of places to eat and drink. On the square try the place called NOLANO

“Nice little market”

This is a great place to pick up any fresh fruit or veggies for a snack or if you are making your own meals. Worth seeing and picking up a bite to eat.

“Busy and Boisterous”
Reviewed 30 March 2012

Went on a Saturday night and it was heaving with people. The dirties square we visited in Rome. Lots of very young people and can get boisterous - it was the only place a felt a little wary of at night time in Rome - there were vans of Police arriving constantly - but this didn't feel very reassuring. The restaurants round here aren't great and we opted to buy a slice of pizza and sit by the fountain to eat it. All in all - much preferred to Piazzas Navona, Popollo, rotunda etc

“no no”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

A drunk place. Need to say more...? sometimes people fight there. But just few steps away there's palazzo Farnese and the magnificent piazza where one can sip a drink away from the crowd.
