This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in if not the nicest. The hotel is immaculate and even has their own art collection. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of everything and it's all excellent. The hotel is located on one of the highest points in town so the view is incredible. Be sure to get a city view room on a higher floor. It's off the beaten path so it's quiet and relaxing. Because it is, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service that will bring you downtown near the main attractions and pick you up later. The Club Level rooms offer a great lounge with several hours of complimentary beverages and snacks. I think most of the rooms have balconies which is nice. From the balcony of the city view rooms you can watch the sun come up over the mountains. The hotel also has a world class spa, several pools and garden area. There is also a walking trail exercise/obstacle course on the grounds. Is there anything this hotel doesn't have? And the hotel restaurants have excellent food. The top floor restaurant having been voted the best restaurant in all of Rome. If we hadn't experienced it, I would have thought it was all too good to be true. No way to go wrong here. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Get an upper floor, club level, city view room. You will be able to see all of Rome right from your...

we stayed in a "king deluxe" room, which was pretty huge. The privacy on our balcony was 100%-no way to see neighbors or neighbors to see you, and it was covered in jasmine vines-both our balcony and the entire outdoors of the hotel grounds wafted beautiful, intense smells of jasmine. Room and bathroom were immaculate in cleanliness. The bed was the most comfortable bed I'd ever experienced in my life! As my husband put it, "it makes you dissapear."

only bad points to the room: there is no in-room coffee/tea maker and the mini-bar cannot be used as a minifridge. However when i called the morning after, they sent me some hot water and skim milk FOR FREE so that i could make myself a cup of tea in the morning (i had my own tea bags). In all my travels, I've never experienced that kind of service (including at other "luxury" hotels). The front desk staff helped us plan our day in Rome with incredible friendliness and patience. They also let us check-in early (around 930am) with no problems. only bad points to the hotel: the check-out process was incredibly long-give yourself an extra 20 minutes for that. and there is no convenience/gift store on the grounds from which you can buy water or snacks.

The outdoor lounge in the evening was a lovely experience-listening to music, smelling the jasmin, looking out at the hilltop view, and being served drinks while seated on comfortable, clean patio furntiure that looks straight from a magazine. The amount and types of free bar snacks that you get when you are order drinks here are enough to subsitute for your dinner! all kinds of nuts, pretzels, chex mix-type items, potato chips...

Free shuttle leaves from the hotel every hour from 8am-9pm (it's very timely) and takes you to Barberini Piazza in about 20-25 minutes. The piazza itself contains the famous Bernini fountain and lots of shopping options. it's also about a 15-20 minute (uphill) walk from Piazza Spagna (aka Spanish Steps). The redline metro is a few steps away from shuttle stop (stop: Barberini) and provides easy, cheap access to the rest of the city. So while the hotel itself has nothing around its grounds, the free shuttle more than makes up for it. If you are like me and you want to spend the day sightseeing, eating out, and exploring, but want to come home to peace, crisp cleanliness, pleasant smells, and welcoming faces, then this is the perfect hotel for you!
Would absoultely come back here again!

This is probably the best all-around hotel experience we have had anywhere. A lot of hotels claim luxury. The Rome Cavalleri defines luxury and backs it up with quality.

Incredibly clean. Incredibly nice. Incredibly expensive.
The club level floors feature a very nice daily spread of food and beverage.
The view of Roma is unmatched so be sure to get a city view.
Beautiful pool and garden.
Excellent marble bathrooms.
Nice to get up on the hill and out of the city congestion. Plan on taking a cab or the hotel shuttle to the tourist destinations.
A few blocks away, there is a little shopping district with a nice pizzeria / restaurant - a nice walk from the hotel.

If you are flying in from the U.S. and want to get your European vacation started off right, save your pennies and stay here. Five years from now, your family will still be talking about this hotel. It is definitely one to remember.

Room Tip: Club level is great for families. Breakfast and afternoon snacks right on your floor. View from the...

We have stayed at this hotel three times now and it has to be one of the best hotels in Italy. Tremendous rooms and location outside the madness but do not think your Hilton honors status matters here because it does not. All in all great hotel with fantastic rooms and restaurants.

Room Tip: Try to get on the imperial floor or rooms as it is the only ones with access to their 5 star concier...
