Friendly and helping staff, beautifully decorated and clean rooms, close to restaurants, transport and "must see" places in rome... a perfect hotel!
I would highly reccomend this hotel to any traveller - one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in.

Everything about this hotel was first class, from the initial enquiry Louisa the owner was brilliant. The staff are also friendly and very helpful with local restaurants and helping with travel information.
We stayed in one of the big rooms for two nights then moved to a smaller room, both rooms were very clean, spotless and the small room was just as nice.
Breakfast was brilliant, a great selection of cakes, cereals, beverages and cheeses everythink you could possibly want.
This was our honey moon and was so pleased we chose the Palm Gallery, we will visit again.

Room Tip: Ask of they have one of the larger rooms avaliable for double windows, def worth the extra euros.

The hotel is in a quiet nice area in an old mansion, fairly far from the city center, about 35-40 min walk to Coliseum, you can take a subway, however. Management and reception are super friendly and very helpful. Rooms are very small but clean. Overall, a very pleasant stay with the only slight minuses being far from the center and small rooms. Breakfast was fabulous.

I booked this hotel from the reviews I read on Tripadvisor. Although the hotel had an excellent reviews category, reviews are still very subjective. I need not have worried. The hotel was remarkably clean and the rooms well decorated and equipped. The staff is very helpful and always pleasant. The one negative was its distance from the centre of Rome although it is located in a quiet upmarket area away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre (just what you need after a long day sightseeing). The hotels about 10mins away from the Metro (one journey is 1.5 Euros pp and that allows access to all of Rome’s many attractions). If you do stay at the Palm Gallery try the I Butteri restaurant. This was suggested by the hotel and what an excellent place to eat.

We have just spent three nights at this hotel and whilst the stay was ok it wasn't as good as we had hoped given the previous reviews. Check in was easy and our room was generally well appointed However, we felt some of the hotel amenities were misrepresented. The description states jacuzzi and fitness equipment in the garden. There was no jacuzzi and equipment that we could see. We did ask about the jacuzzi and told that this was only in one room. Obviously they meant a jetted bath not a hot tub!! Also on the second day the complimentary toiletries had not been topped up in the room and we had to ask. This may seem a moot point but we were traveling light so did not have these items with us. We were also traveling with children and were questioned about a small stain on a pillowcase when we checked out - I think one of the children had spilt a drink but it was nothing huge and was not really something I would have expected to be mentioned. So although we had an ok stay I think I would try somewhere else if I returned to Rome and people traveling with children may wish to think twice.

It’s clear that the main issue of this review is the “stain”. (I cannot believe that “asking for some more toiletries” is whorty of mention).
Unfortunately it was not a stain! We like and use white or light-crème sheets, covers and towels. Every morning there were stains on the covers, like children have been jumping with shoes on the beds.
We changed the beds-cover every morning (that is not a standard service even in a 5 stars hotel). The towels were spotted as well. One morning the towels had vanished from the bathroom. They were under the bed, widely black, like they have been used to clean shoes!!!
We tried to wash all these linen but one cover, some towels and one pillow case have permanent stains and we cannot use them anymore..
At the check-out the receptionist asked for a fee that was just a symbolic refund, that anyway has been refused to pay. We also hosted the children free of charge.
The question from my point of view is:
Could the children make the same at home?
Minimizing the problem might encourage their grating and impolite behavior?
I think these issues are the most important to think about.
About the fitness area we have it and it’s in a side of the garden. We have still to install a Jacuzzi.
