Back from our June 27, 2012 Carnival Western Med Cruise. After reading all of the excellent reviews on Cruise Critic of RomeInLimo, I booked this private tour with RomeInLimo. We were picked up at the port of Livorno, Italy by Vinny. Vinny was our driver to Pisa and San Gimignano but what a lot of historical knowledge he has. Our first stop was to see the Tower of Pisa and what a beauty it is. Vinny explained it had recently been cleaned. Some of the family had tickets to climb the stairs in the Tower and Vinny made sure they knew where to go. After photos and the climb, we went on to San Gimignano with a photo stop on the way. There were fields of beautiful sunflowers to see on the way. We really enjoyed wandering around this old medieval town, shopping and then having a great lunch at a restuarant that Vinny recommended. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name but it was off the usual tourist path. After lunch we were driven back to the ship at our requested time. Thanks RomeInLimo for a great day and thanks to Jany in the office for being so prompt to answer emails and questions.
