Cosy, small, safe and very clean. The young lady at the front desk, Monica, was very helpful and pleasant.
The bad thing was that our room was at the end of the isle so the wifi didint work..also the breakfast is poor, only some croissants given to us fron the night before. Definately expected something more as the description says ''breakfast included''.
Some rooms quite small.
Overall good experience and would recommend it.

We went to Rome at the end of February, we enjoyed staying at Esedra Inn, it’s located right in the center of the city and we did not certainly expect that room for what we payed. We booked a double economy room and when we arrived there they gave us a beautifull elegant room whit jacuzzi and hydromassage shower and the cromotherapy was awesome. The fact is that we expected breakfast like we had in other hotels but this hotel surprised us with the fact that they do not have breakfast but they offer this enormous chest whit Italian bakery and the coffee mashine does a great job, very good expresso and italian cornetti. In the afternoon it’s possible to have tea and the personel is so nice that they will give you breakfast biscuits (3 flavors) to have with tea. We had

Hajnal Monica: We had great restaurant reccomandations and we had the possibility to print our boarding passes to leave our luggage to reserve a transfer, they practicly arranged for everything we needed and we felt very welcomed. Esedra Inn we will be back!

We stayed at this sweet Inn for Valentines 2012 and it was a romantically excellent choice for the occasion!

There have been previous reviews stating that Esedra is hard to find, but no idea why. You can walk from Termini in 10 mins and Rome is better than other cities with street names and numbers, both of which are unmissable for this Inn.
The fact that it is set away from the main road in a charming courtyard and on the 5th floor (via a interesting lift) of a further recessed buling ensures that there is more than enough security, privacy and reassuance for most and excellent for the price.

The staff were very helpful and happy to help. We were recommended restaurants, provided advice and one member of the team even printed out directions for us in Italian so we could give to our taxi.

The interior does not dissapoint, we can all list subjective preferences, but this is all they should be - preferences. The main points, the facts about this Inn, are plain to see and exactly what they say on the tin:

This is excellent VFM
They do have two flat screen TVs, one big and one in the jacuzzi bath
The shower has a radio with ambient lighting and a selection of water settings
The rest of the bathroom was good and cleaned well
They do have Satelitte TV even if they lack English channels and there are over 100 Italian ones??
The beds are comfy
The decor doesnt look like some of the others on offer in the Termini vicinity
The breakfast is only Italian croissants with at the time of staying the machine was free for tea and coffee

If you are a solo or a couple this is a great choice in our opinion and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did

Room Tip: We had a suite which was not much extra at the time

After spending days and days looking for the perfect hotel for valentines I chose Esedra and I am soooooooooo glad I did. Everything was perfect from the location to the room to the staff I can't fault any of it. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, the room was always immaculately cleaned, there was absolutely zero noise from the street, the jacuzzi bath was wonderful, the high tech shower was great, the room decor was lovely (the pictures don't do it justice), the mini bar pprices were very reasonable.

The only complaint I would have if I was pushed was that the breakfast was very basic however the croissants and biscuits were delicious.

If you are lucky enough to book this hotel don't listen to previous reviews about difficulty finding it. All the buildings on this main street have numbers which are very clearly displayed this building included!!

Travelled to Rome with my girlfriend at the end of last summer as she was there for a photo shoot. The first two nights we were put up in a much larger hotel (which I won't name) by her management company...but to us the bigger hotel felt so impersonal. We had made prior arrangments to stay on for a few more days and decided upon Esedra Inn after reading some positive reviews online. What can I say...the place was so welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. The staff, led by Monica, made us feel right at home and would have bent over backwards to accomodate any need we had. The rooms were bright, airy and most importantly, spotlessly clean. The shower was one of those ones which, when you get back home, you realise your home needs a better shower! Breakfast was continental and served to our room and was extremely tasty and the right size to start you off for your long day spent sight-seeing or shopping. The location is great and very close to a metro station, which came in handy for our visit to the Vatican. I would highly recommend this place...5 stars all round,,,and we are planning to go back again sometime this year.
