The whole area seems to be going through a renaissance, filling with cool bars and pubs with funky ambience and polite young staff. This place is a little different. Elegant restaurant with an elegant yet cozy 50s vibe. Few items on the menu but done beautifully and plated with class. We were a group of 8 and decided to go for the tasting menu. Each plate was classy and well thought out. The only thing that seemed amiss within the body of the tasting was seppia. Cooked well, but didn't quite flow for me given the other delectable dishes before and after. I would substitute perhaps the duck or sgombro with foie gras. But other than that the experience was wonderful and I am already trying to work it into my schedule to go back to try the other dishes. The staff are also very courteous and well informed about the food and wine accompaniment. Its a small place and got packed quickly, I would definitely book ahead here.
