We didn't book the table in advance therefore, we had to wait almost one hour. However, when we got a table and entered into the restaurant, the inside atmosphere is excellent with the friendly staff. The foods are perfect and are worth waiting expecially the oysters. We had a good time and already recommend our Thai friends to visit this restaurant.

The service and food in this restaurant was superb. We were welcomed with a complimentary proseco and hors d'ouevre. With a shared pasta and fish and langoustine entrees, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Complimentary limoncello finished this fine lunch. Best of all was the very friendly and attentive service.

We booked our table via their website before we left home as this was going to be the last night of our honeymoon. We mentioned this when we made the booking.
When we arrived, we were welcomed in and given 2 glasses of complimentary prosecco, which was really lovely.
We had toyed with the idea of the tourist menu, and then decided against it, which was definitely the best decision. We did see a couple who had ordered it, who were certainly getting less attention and were rushed out a little, and didn't get any of the benefits that the rest of the diners ordering from the main menu were receiving.
We ordered a bottle of chianti from the wine list, which was very nice.
We both had bruschetta for starters which was fantastic, the tomatoes were full of flavour and really made the dish special and of a very high standard.
For first course, we ordered the lasagne and the arrabiata, both of which were simple dishes, but the quality of them was superb and the flavours were excellent. Certainly the best lasagne i've had. The arrabiata had a good amount of spice and chilli.
For main course we ordered the veal with ham and sage butter and the grilled pork chop. we had planned to order the grilled vegetables with this, but forgot, but it wasn't a major issue, it just meant that we could enjoy the flavours in the meat without other flavours to interfere. The veal was tender and well cooked and the sauce with the ham made the dish very enjoyable. The pork was well seasoned, and was very tender and juicy.
We then both had the tiramisu, which was just fantastic, it was made with zabaglione as a twist to other tiramisu that we've had, but it was rich and creamy and had a shot of espresso at the bottom which really meant it lived up to it's name (tiramisu = pick me up)
We then ordered coffee, which was great, nice and strong in flavour.
Afterwards the waiter who had been very attentive, but not intrusive for the whole evening brought over 2 bottles, one limoncello and one agricanto (a dark cherry liqueur) and told to help ourselves, we had a couple of glasses, the agricanto was fantastic, so much so that we asked them were we could get some, the waiter didn't know where it was available locally, so they offered to sell us a bottle, which we decided would be a perfect reminder for our evening there. We did actually find it in a local shop, for about the same price, so we'd been offered a good deal.
The evening was a fantastic one, and for EUR 85 (excluding the take home bottle) it was excellent value for the quality of the meal and the service.
On paying the bill we were also given a bottle of red wine to take away with us too. I suspect this is particularly for celebrations, and didn't seem to be offered to everyone.
This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.

We ate here after reading tripadvisor reviews and happily discovered Tema was close to our hotel, UNA hotel.
We ordered from the tourist menu. What a mistake!
For starter we all should have received roasted veg antipasto, the only option on the menu, we all got brushetta, the staff realised their mistake from what I could decifer from their conversation in Italian but none of the staff acknowledged this mistake. An inoffensive plate of spaghetti in tomato sauce was next. One of our party ordered lasange, dish of the evening in my opinon, it had some flavour.
For main course what was described as 'beef' on the menu and recommended by the waitress, was infact veal floating a mush of sage butter or another dish ordered was veal in a horrid lemon sauce, no taste or smell from either, both equally terrible dishes!!
The dessert for the menu was a flan case filled with cream and berries, very lazy and uninspired!
The service could be summarised as 'take the order and bring the food', nothing else, we were not acknowledged otherwise.
The 'menu' was served with wine in a jug, also mediocre.
Maybe we should have avoided the tourist menu....but that's no excuse for serving tasteless, bland food!

We stayed at Hotel Raffaello during our visit to Rome and the concierge recommended Tema to us. It was about a 5 min walk. The food was great - fresh pasta and very tasty! The owners sent over 2 glasses of complimentary champagne. Their hospitality was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend it everyone visiting this wonderful city.
