We chose H10 as our base for our recent 3 night / 4 day stay in Rome. Having looked through hundreds of different hotels and read the reviews, this looked the best option for us - I'm really pleased we did - thanks fellow trip advisors!

Modern clean hotel, nice spacious rooms with air con, wifi, minibar (useful to keep cold water in fridge) - not a green carpet or burgundy curtain in sight! OMG, how comfy and spacious was the bed! Nice powerful shower. Great selection for breakfast. The pastries were awesome! All in all a great base for exploring the city and a nice place to return to having visited the many sights and sounds of central Rome.

In terms of location, it is on a really well serviced bus route (170) with a bus stop a short walk from the hotel. We didn't use the hotel's shuttle bus as we were up and out of the hotel early to beat the crowds and the heat so the times didn't really fit with us. It's a fairly short bus ride into town and once mastered the bus system gets you round really easily. Buses get quite crowded during rush hours - and this is a popular commuter route. We flew in to Ciampino airport - from there you can take a shuttle bus to Terminus (which is the bus/ train station) 3/4 euros (there is a bus kiosk as you exit the airport) and 30 mins - from there catch the 170 bus, again about 25-30 mins (buy a 3 day pass form any newsagent and then validate it on the bus).

The only reason for not awarding the five stars, the hotel pool (situated on the roof) is not very large nor is the seating area around it so when we came back mid afternoon for a swim and siesta there was no room.

Overall a great base to explore from!

We stayed a week in this City Hotel and it was exactly what we expected. A very clean and comfortable room. They also gave us a token for 2 complimentary drinks, but this was only redeemable between 7-9pm from the hotel bar.
Although we had a great stay there was a few things that could have been better. If you are a light sleeper (as I am) would probably be best to ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the hotel is opposite a football pitch and they tend to play late as it is too hot to play during the day.
Also have a room away from the housekeepers storage room as they tend to start their rounds from 8am.
The rooftop swimming is not overly big, but adequate to swim in and the jacuzzi was lovely and a great place to catch some rays of sun.
We filled up our bottle with water from the water tap in the corridor every morning before we went out, which saved us some money as we didn't have to keep buying bottles of water. Also there are many water fountains around Rome. There was also an ice machine which was great to keep drinks nice and cold.
Like any hotel there is a mini bar, room service, restaurant and bar. The hotel restaurant isn't overly pricey but isn't a cheap opinion. We shared a starter, had 2 main courses and 2 soft drinks which came to about 60 Euros, compared to our previous night's 3 course meal with a bottle of wine coming to the same price and we both felt fuller.
Another good thing was the shuttle bus to Trastavere (town as they call it). The first one arrives at 9:30am and the last one back to the hotel is 17:00. However we bought a 3 day tourist pass (BTI) which we used on the 170 bus to Trastavere and the train to Vatican city. You can also use it on the tram and only costs 16.50 Euros.
There are not many restaurants in the local area of the Hotel, but we found a decent one if you walk towards the main road (Marconi), turn left and then first right. Unfortunately can't remember name of road or restaurant. The main road (Marconi) are full of retail shops and we also used the supermarket on Marconi, think just Supermarcado and Euro Spin on the road leading to the hotel to stock up on snacks when we went out exploring.
Hope this review has been useful to all that read it.

I was a bit apprehensive about this place as our rate was €95 per night- I was not expecting to be impressed. But the gym, free wifi, great breakfast and lovely pool were all as good as advertised. The shuttle buses into the city are handy and its location gave us the opportunity to get a feel for "neighbourhood" Rome as well as the city. Overall - highly recommended.

We chose this hotel due to the high reputation of the H10 group. The hotel is a modern smart building, the rooms are a good size with large bed, smart bathroom and ample wardrobe space. The choice at breakfast is plenty, however on our last morning they had forgotten to turn on the food warmers so we ended up with cold eggs. That oversight apart I would recommend the H10.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, there is a good connection to the airport.
The rooms are very clean, breakfast was very good with plenty of choise, friendly staff.

The capacity of the shuttle was some days insufficient and the first shuttle is a little too late.

We will go back to this hotel.
