“All We Could Ask for + A/C!”
Reviewed 5 July 2012

We spent 3 nights at QuodLibet in mid June. This was the start of our first ever trip to Italy, so my wife, my 11 year old son, and I didn't really know what to expect in terms of accommodations, transportation, food, etc. Well, we picked the right first stop, because Gianluca and QuodLibet made us feel very comfortable. After greeting us, Gianlucca spread out the map and showed us his ideas of what we should see, where we should eat, how/where to use the Metro, and what time we had to leave in order to meet our scheduled Vatican tour.

The room was, as noted by other reviewers, spotless and well furnished. We REALLY appreciated the A/C, as it was quite warm in Rome while we were there. Breakfasts were excellent and plentiful with different kinds of coissants, cheese, meat, eggs, juice, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. We definitely appreciated the proximity to the Metro and to the Vatican, and the neighborhood seemed very peaceful (for Rome!).

Our stay in Rome was delightful, and QuodLibet was a big reason for that!

Quodlibet is an excellent, newly refurnished, well maintained, well positioned, well priced and friendly bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in staying in Rome. Very close to the metro, a 24 hour bakery and the Vatican. The host pointed out some excellent (his favourite), many unmissable sights and the sights to avoid if on a shot time frame.

What can I add to the other posts? All true. Simply a great stay in Rome. Large quad room, immaculately clean, wonderful staff. Gianlucca was such a kind man for our departure, we had a sick 18yr old (food poisioning) and trying to get a taxi to the airport with a transportaion strike on. We was very calm and reassuring as he called multiple taxi companies. He even handed me a bottle of Chianti and thanked me for the time there. All folllwed by Gianlucca helping with us with our bags and speaking to the taxi driver to insure we were not overcharged for our ride to the airport.
The one note in true TripAdvisor fashion would be that the showers are a bit odd. The shower tub has a half partition and we kept getting the floor wet. No big deal and we would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here Summer 2011 which was shortly after all the rooms had been completely redone so everything had that "new" feel. I really liked this place-the guys who run it are both friendly and helpful with whatever you need. It's very close to the subway line, little cafes, shops, etc. There's also a delicious bakery open all the time right near the entrance of this place which was great for grabbing a quick snack on the go of sightseeing. Also made the stairwell smell delish. This is a high density area for student living. The neighborhood felt safe at all hours of day and night.

We stayed at Qudlibet for 5 nights in June and our experience was wonderful. The 'family' Gianlucca, Connie and Agustino have everything just right. From the moment we arrived and Gianlucca was so welcoming with cold drinks and biscuits, I knew I had made the right choice of accommodation in Rome. He was so informative about the city (not only telling us about the usual sites, but 'off the beaten track' ones as well). The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Breakfasts were quite delicious and plenty of it. We wish them every success for the future, they deserve to do well! Perfect location as well!

Room Tip: We stayed in 'Winter' room which was very spacious.
