“Fantastic B&B in Roma!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2012

QuodLibet is one of the most charming B&B's that we have stayed in anywhere. We stayed in the Spring room which, while very purple, was welcoming, large, and well appointed. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and amazing at every turn. The bathroom was very nice and clean, the room was large, and for the first time on our trip (3rd B&B we stayed in) we had a table in our room. The Breakfast was not only large (maybe even too large!) but put together just for us and brought to our room at our convenience. The only thing that I could even begin to comment on negatively is the front door: waaay to narrow for a broad shouldered person like me. I always had to go through sideways. To Sum Up: Civilized, Fun, Whimsical, Clean, Well Kept, Quiet, Nice Location, Charming, and Very Well Serviced!

Dear Jon G,

thank you very much for your review.

We really appreciate your words and we are very happy that you liked our B&B.

About the front door ... ;-) you are right and now we are starting to think about finding one a little bit larger, even if so far we have been lucky and nobody had to remain outside for it :-), and since our breakfast is quite filling ... there is the risk that somebody is able to get in but not to go out!! Just joking.

Thank you very much for your very very nice feedback and we really hope to see you next time you come to Rome.

Warm regards,

The Entire Staff at Quodlibet B&B - Rome

We stayed at Quodlibet from 6th - 11th April and have only wonderful things to say about the place as well as our hosts - Agostino and Gianluca. Consolata also though in the background and we never met her was very organized and ensured we got a reminder before our check in and our airport pick up was organized and on time. Traveling with a 2 yr old can be daunting so it was amazing the way Agostino & Gianluca went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable in every way. The location, just 2 mins walk from the metro station ensured we were well connected and didn't waste money in taxis to get around. It's also just a 15 min walk from St Peters Square and the Vatican Museum. All in all, beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast and amazing hosts - we would recommend them to anyone who wants to visit Rome and stay in a safe neighborhood close to Vatican City.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Summer Room which is absolutely beautiful with the wondeful painting above the bed...

Dear kdsilva,

easy to be good hosts with guests as you three. Your son was so nice and very interesting and pleasing to talk the two of with you.

It would be a real pleasure to meet you again in Rome,or, you can never know, in Dubai.

Good luck for your life and ventures!

Warm regards,

The QuodLibet bed and breakfast Staff

Great value for money and fantastic service. The hosts were amazing and made us feel right at home. Rooms are fairly sized with clean modern bathooms. The location is also very good as it is in the heart of city. Vatican City is just 10 mins walk which says it all really. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. Great service guys, keep it up :)

Faraz

Room Tip: They are all good.

Dear ChrisDMaidstone,

thanks a lot for your comment.

Even if "perfection" is a long way to go (as we think for everybody who does things in the real world) we do, as you said, every effort to ensure our guests stay is as comfortable as possible.

Thank you for writing this and we really hope to see you in the future in Rome.

Good luck with the great "news" arriving.

We booked Quodlibet as an alternative to a full facility hotel because of the reviews and we were not disappointed.

Gianluca and Agostino are excellent hosts and available to provide advice, directions, a handy map and some valuable restaurant recommendations.

The B&B is small but thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is available for guest use and was handy to make a late night cuppa.

Breakfast was laid out, when requested, in our beautifully decorated room and filled the table. My best efforts only dented the spread, but it certainly set us up nicely for long days walking the alleyways and Piazzas of Rome.

The B&B was seconds from the metro station but we preferred to walk.

We will happily recommend Quodlibet to friends and will no doubt return ourselves.

Enjoy.

Dear hairlessbear,

thanks a lot for your review.

We are glad to hear that QuodLibet is a valid alternative to a full facility hotel.

We offer a familiar and informal service at our B&B, but we try, day by day, to satisfy all guests needs, specially we are very happy when our guests find in Rome "special" places out of the mass tourist routes.

We really look forward to meeting you again next time you vist Rome.

Best regards,
