My Wife, our son (15) and myself had eight wonderful days here. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly, the food was amazing, so glad we chose the Half board option it was well worth it. The pool is big, clean, and pretty much empty even in the 1st week of August. Our room was in the villa in the picture you see, very nice room, clean, the cleaner came in every day, plenty of space, we even had an upstairs bedroom.
We will definitely return to Villa Irlanda.
We got the train down here just over an hour from Rome Termini, this was also a nice journey. Much recommended.

The hotel location and surroundings are stunning. Very nice buildings and swimming pool is really great!

The rooms however were not ok for us. We stayed in a suite. It was very outdated, dark and dull. The bed was hard as a rock, we had a few terrible nights sleeping on it. The airco was very noisy and unable to turn off. The bathroom was seriously outdated (old plumbing, water pressure was low, ...) The room and bathroom were very clean however, so service was good, it’s just a matter of the state of the building.

Dinner was great, really nice setting outside and food was delicious. Lunch was great too. Breakfast was just ok, not much special. Staff was friendly but most of them don’t speak English.

Not sure if it’s normal for the region that prices are that high, but for what it is it’s not worth the price. Price vs quality was definitely not ok.

The hotel itself is located on a great spot with a view to the sea and walking distance to the nearest beach (which is a public one and open to all visitors). Beautiful buildings and the well-cared garden area really make this place stand out.

Staff was very helpful and fluent in English. They even let us stay at the compound and enjoy the wonderful pool after our check-out, which was especially nice as we had checked in late at night and were unable to use the pool at that time.

To one unaccustomed to italian way of parking (which is TIGHT) it was relieving that the parking lot was spacious and easy to drive into.

We'd definitely visit again!

My wife and I flew into Rome, bound for southern Italy. I wanted a "rest stop" closer to Rome for first two nights in Italy. We visited Gaeta and stayed here. Did not regret it at all: amazing pool, nice staff, wonderful area to eat breakfast in the morning. I saw one negative reviewer commented on the rooms being too far apart--that's why the have the great little motor-cart to drive you to our room with your bags! Did I say great pool?

Beautiful hotel with nice garden and pool. Rooms were quite big with rich mini bar, nice big bathroom and a nice view of the pool. We had a chance to eat light lunch at the beach bar and we took caprese salad and fried calamyand shrimps. It vas very tasty. Breakfast was basic but with good choice of sweet pastries and cold cuts. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.
