If you visit Naples, you need to make sure, before you leave, to visit this small shop specialised in selling amulets of good luck, in the true spirit of such a famously superstitious city. Items go from Pompeian inspired pagan phallic pendants to be placed at your entrance door, to large canvases depicting the city Patron, Saint Gennaro. There are also owls, horns, pulcinella (local theatre mask), etc. All items, from the smaller to the bigger ones are made by local artists and you can buy hand crafted artefacts in bronze, terracotta or silver. It's nice to bring home a small concentrate of energy from this vibrant volcanic city!

This cute little shop is totally worth visiting if you're in Naples. It's a great way to get a real taste of Neapolitan superstition and art, while finding unique pieces. Scaramanzia has one of a kind, hand-made good luck charms based on traditional local symbols to keep away back luck - or the Italian "malocchio". While the concept is simple, it really distinguishes itself from other stores because of how sophisticated, unique, and elegant the craftsmanship is - as well as the lovely Italian family that warmly welcomes you in! In fact, it looks almost more like an art gallery than a store. If you're in Naples for the first time, or like me who visits all the time, it's the perfect shop to find original gifts/souvenirs that still stay true to the deep rooted traditions.

I've visited this cute shop just recently and was amazed by it! It's really nice, I could find any sort of good luck charms and pieces of art, all handmade! It was a great experience and people were very friendly. I would recommend visiting 100%, totally worth every penny!

I run into this place when I was in Naples for a couple of days. They sell lots of objects against the misfortune and the guys inside were really nice (and they could also speak english pretty well). Definitely a place to swing by to buy some presents for friends or a beautiful remainder of a beautiful city.
