The location of this hotel cannot be beat, you can see it as you exit the train station. For its location, its surprisingly clean and fancy. The staff was very helpful, made calls on our behalf, called taxis for us, helped us with our touristy stuff. The Italian dismissive attitude needed some getting used to, but once we realised that the brusqueness was not directed at anyone in particular, the actions spoke very well to the staff's frinedliness. The rooms were large and adequate to our needs (we had two premium rooms), and the complimentary breakfast was great. Fantastic terrace top view and plenty of options for all our picky eaters. Fast, great wifi coverage. We didn't use the restaurant, but when we ordered takeaway from another restaurant and needed utensils and plates, the restaurant provided them to us with no questions. Also heated up the food for us when we asked and gave it to us prettily arranged in a tray. Very good service. We'd booked a day tour to Pompeii and Vesuvius and the pick up point was this hotel, so it was super convenient.
All in all, a great experience, esp when traveling with two kids and two senior citizens.
