We stayed in Capri for 6 days and the hotel was perfect.
It was very close to Capri city centre and to restaurants and bars.
The hotel was a short walk to the Piccola Marina where there is a beach. It is worth visiting it.
The hotel was very clean, rooms where very big and very comfortable.
The view from our room made it even more special.
What made it perfect was the amazing team working there. Will book again.

"Value for money" travellers should better avoid it. This is slightly better than 2 star facility and service hotel. At first look it seems well located, but in fact it is not as compared to many other alternatives. The front office and sales claim - they probably belive - it is very close to beaches at Piccolo Marina, well it is 15-20 mins walk down to Piccolo Marina, but would probably take 30 minutes + if you attempt to walk back - only 10 minutes with bus or taxi, but anywhere on the island is 10-15 minutes by taxi or bus anyway!. It is 10-15 minutes walk to Capri center - well mots other hotels are also 10-15 mins walk. If you want to stay at easy walking distance to the Capri center look for hotels or villas (there are many and they look wonderful) around Via Tragara, or Via Morino Occhio, or Via Tuoro towards Faraglioini (google it, one of the most spectular views of Capri); if you want to be close to beaches on Piccolo Marina check out Hotel Weber Ambassador or other options close to it. Breakfast is very poor if you are 5 star hotel traveller. Rooms are ok in size, but a/c problematic and noisy. "The pool" - this is a joke, it is sort of a large bath tub about 5meter x 6 meter, "the view" is a narrow view of open sea over Piccola Marina (hey this is an island where the village is located at the hills, just walk 5 minutes in any directions and you will have a wonderful sea view anyhere). Service : maybe they try their best but is very very lousy, they just don't have much experience in hospitality sector, they might be nice pals, but they are far from being smiling face, comforting, problem solving, relaxing - in short far from being hotel employees. In short, the prices are above mid range (even for Capri) in this hotel but what you get for it is a two star facility nad service. Don't waste your money.

The hotel is ideally located between the large marina (where all the the tourists arrive) and the small marina, and it is very close to the city center with shopping, bars and nice restaurants. The hotel itself has good rooms, a great view, very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast selection. Service was attentive and quick, and they really went the extra mile to help with everything from laundry to restaurant recommendations. In short - I can't wait to come back to Capri and to Hotel Della Piccola Marina!

We stayed here for 3 nights the location is great ,a short walk to everything you need and supermarket across the road to stock up on drinks for the mini fridge , the staff were very friendly and helpful . It is beautifully clean and stylishly decorated. The only problems we had were on booking it said we would have a garden view but it wasn't it was just a wall and a bush ,the air con wasn't very good and the pool is much ,much smaller than it looks on all advertisements ,it also has a safety rope all the way round it which makes it impossible to sit on the side and just paddle which is what I like to do and it is absolutely freezing ! ... Overall fir the price it's a lovely hotel and I would stay again.

Lovely hotel in a perfect, quiet location just minutes away from the hustle of Capri town. Far enough away to avoid the day trippers, but only a short walk to the piazzetta and the funicular. The staff where extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble, so helpful, especially the lady who served us at breakfast. The pool was slightly small, but had a beautiful view and the outside bar serves lovely light lunches and cocktails.

Room Tip: The pool side bars are lovely and have a good sized terrace
