This apartment is excellent and there is nothing to complain about. The view is fantastic and subtly changes as the light changes from hour to hour and day to day. Plenty of equipment and the beds were comfy. We were fortunate to get some great sunsets. Recommend Il Nido restaurant within walking distance. The bus service is good, but you need to work a bit to understand the timetable. A car could be a problem as it's difficult to park in the tourist spots, not to mention Italian drivers!
The most loveliest views from the terrace looking out on bay of Naples. Excellent location. We walked into Sorrento downhill in 30minutes and then took bus back in evenings. Bus stop outside villa and buses very regular and easy to use. Excellent base for exploring Sorrento, pompei Amalfi coast. The villa itself is spacious, great to have 2 bathrooms. It was clean and comfortable Guidry the owner was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. If we had any issues, she was easily contactable.
We were delighted from the moments we arrived and did not want to leave. The views are amazing with large outdoor patios from which to enjoy them. The house itself is well equipped and comfortable with a large living, dining area, two good sized bedrooms and two baths. The owners are both personable and helpful. As a bonus there are two good restaurants just down the hill and the bus into Sorrento is at the bottom of the drive. One thing to consider, the drive is long and on quite the hill so if you do not have a car it would be hard for someone unfit. We are hovering around 70 and managed fine. We used it as a good excuse for another glass of wine.
My partner and her parents stayed here with me for about 10 days. The place is marked incorrectly on google maps so use the tripadvisor location (right next to il Nido).
The view was amazing. Seriously good view of Vesuvius, Naples and Sorrento. I agree that it is much easier with a car as the roads are not really made for pedestrains to walk on.
We went during a period where it was fairly cold so heating was essential which it did have. We had some issues with one door not shutting but this would be no problem in the summer. The property also had a 5KW limit of electrictiy which went off when we had four of us staying as the electicity use required was high. We think it may have been all the radiators on with the oven so monitored this. It went off a few more times after this so be careful not overload which I have to admit can be somewhat difficult to guage.
The property itself was nice. The kitchen was fantastic and the bedrooms were both nice.
The only thing that let it down was light bulbs missing / not working, the electricity cutting out and the door that doesnt close fully in the main room, letting the heat out but as it was wet, wood expands and ao I would not think this a problem in Summer.
That said, the area was fantastic and we enjoyed ourselves overall.
