We stayed here 30th May to 6th June on a half board basis. We went with Citiala and paid for private transfers to and from Naples airport in a Merc, worth paying for!!! The hotel is beautiful, staff all speak English and are very polite. The view from our bedroom was across the Bay of Naples, fantastic. The breakfasts had plenty of choice but dinner was only O.K. Best go B&B. The bedroom was large clean and full of light!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sorrento. Only a 10 minute walk into town. Very comfortable!!!

Room Tip: You must get one with a sea view overlooking the Bay of Naples.

My girlfriend and I have just returned from a stay in the Villa Bianca Suites at the Hotel Bristol. We cannot say enough to compliment this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

Yes there are a number of steps up to the suites but once you get there it's more than worth it. A spectacular view, jacuzzi on the terrace, a hammock, patio furniture and a fridge. (see pics)

The suite contained a magnificent four poster bed, leather furniture, large bathroom and a mini bar. Every night we arrived back there was a nice surprise waiting for us, for example wine or pastries.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff were exceptional. A large buffet, a choice of freshly made eggs with bacon or sausages, tea or coffee. We never ate dinner at the hotel as we spent our days out sightseeing and ate on our travels, but the smell from the dining room was delicious whenever we walked by. We'll definitely try it when we return.

After a long day sightseeing an evening spent soaking in the jacuzzi with a glass of prosecco was heaven on earth. Thank you to everyone at the Hotel Bristol for a wonderful stay and we hope to see you again very soon.

Alan & Orlaigh, Ireland.

Room Tip: Choose the Villa Bianca Suites, you won't regret it.

Stayed here on recommendation from a friend, the hotel is excellent place to stay, the staff can not do enough for you, food is great and good selection to choose from and different ever night. our room directly looked over the bay with stunning views,we tried to book a day trip to Rome in the town and was told it was fully booked (at the time we went ,the rome day trip only ran on tuesdays from sorreneto with one company running it.) we went back to hotel disappointed, happen to mention this at reception and the staff said to us give 20 minutes ,had just got back to our room and the phone rang with reception advising us Rome trip had been all booked for us,on the trip the hotel kitchen made us up a breakfast doggy bag and it did not disappoint.the hotel is spotlessly clean, each night there was different entertainment in the terrace bar. Over all the stay at the bristol was fault less and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Wonderful views, room, and food. All managed by fantasic staff. Just needs a bookcase for guests to leave no longer required paperback books for others to read, (think of the weight saved, not everyone has a kindle).

Room Tip: worth the extra for balcony with sea view

We had a lovely holiday in this excellent hotel. The views are to die for. The hotel is situated way above sea level and looks out over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. Every day there, we discovered something new - the lovely gardens with more seating and sunbathing areas, more indoor lounges etc. We loved the roof-top pool with surrounding loungers and bar. The pool was not heated and being early in the season was too chilly for some, so we usually had it to ourselves. There was another terrace for sunbathing or sitting on chairs or sofas under canopies, with a restaurant that was open at lunch time.
Our room was large with lots of storage, mini bar, flat screen tv, safe and an enormous comfy bed (though the pillows were a bit hard). There was also a large leather sofa, bookcase with reading material, desk and 2 chairs. There were no refreshment facilities. The balcony overlooked Sorrento to the right, down below was a small fishing harbour with a number of eateries and straight ahead across the Bay of Naples was Vesuvius. On the balcony were 2 individual loungers and 2 chairs and a table. I noticed that balconies of other rooms varied a lot in size: some were very small with just 2 chairs and a table, some very large with even more furniture than we had. At night, we slept with the balcony door open, as there was an electric blind that could be lowered for security.
The bathroom was also large, with a big bath incorporating powerful shower and separate hand held shower, loo, bidet and basin. The hairdrier was of the type attached to the wall - not the easiest to use. If you take your own, you would have to plug it in next to the wash basin - not good safety wise - as there are no mirrors in the bedroom that you could use. There were shelves and a shaving mirror. The window had an electric blind that could be used to keep it cool.
The decor was very cool, modern and fresh looking. The walls were white, the floors and bathroom tiled in blue and white and the furniture was white with splashes of dark blue.

There was a huge choice of food at breakfast, hot and cold, ranging from fresh fruit to smoked salmon, cereals to ham and cheese, yoghurt to cake, with lots of different breads. The evening meals were equally delicious, with a wide choice of starter, main and dessert. Traditional and vegetarian recipes were indicated on the menu. Don't choose this hotel if you are expecting burger and chips - you will be disappointed, but if you want to sample Italian cuisine, this is the place for you.
The staff were faultless. They are all so friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff are attentive without being intrusive.

This really is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: If booking from the UK, it is worth paying extra to go with a more upmarket holiday company - the ch...
