My review is somewhat late as we stayed here Easter last year and have only just got round to it......

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, we stayed in one of the junior suites and have to say it was gorgeous, the views were spectacular and the room itself so spacious and beautifully decorated.

The restaurant food was very good and service great too.

Everything was clean, well maintained with lots of helpful staff. I'd return in a second to this hotel, wonderful place for a peaceful, relaxed break.

We will never forget our stay at the Hotel Bristol in Sorrento. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and they were sure to give us a room with an incredible view overlooking the town. Whether you love the excellent breakfast served by their accommodating staff, or enjoy the Italian lessons given by Salvatore at the front desk, you'll be sure to want to come back for a longer stay. We made Sorrento a 2-day visit within our tour of Italy, and we may have to come back again soon just to stay in Sorrento for an entire vacation.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra to get the view. You won't be disappointed.

Just returned from a fantastic week holiday and can thoroughly recommend this hotel. Excellent service from all the staff - they were friendly, helpful and courteous. The food was first class - a good choice of food was available from the menu. The room also had amazing views across the bay of Naples. The only downside was the weather but this was out of everyones hands. This did not deter us from enjoying the trips to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Herculaneum, Pompeii and Vesuvius!!! There is much to do and we would certainly return here again.

Room Tip: Higher floors have stunning views across Sorrento

Good all-round hotel. Excellent service at the front desk and in the restaurant. Plus well-maintained rooms. We had noted some of the other reviews before we went and had requested a room on the upper floors in order to avoid any risk of road noise. We were allocated a room on the eighth floor which was not only quiet but had amazing views so we would recommend that you follow this advice too. Everything you could possibly want is on offer at breakfast. The evening meal was varied each night and was of a good quality. There is an easy walk into town but it is worth it for the views and the escape from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, for a relaxing evening. The pool was open but as it was early April and wasn't heated, it was freezing. It would be great in summer though. Would recommend this hotel for a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view on the upper floors.

We had our mini honeymoon in Sorrento and booked this hotel following a recommendation due to the stunning views across Sorrento bay. We paid a bit more for a balcony overlooking the bay of naples and mount vesuvio and it did not disappoint. A bottle of prosecco sat on the balcony in the evening was bliss!

Rooms: clean, spacious, fruit bowl on arrival, large terrace
Staff: friendly, informative, polite
Pool: cold but otherwise lovely pool and terrace area
Breakfast: standard continental set-up with a choice of cooked extras

We didnt dine in the restaurant in the evening as there are far too many quaint, cheaper and good quality establishments in Sorrento town but apparently it is of excellent quality from other guests I have spoken too. The walk to the hotel from Sorrento is up a decent size hill but as a couple in their late 20s, a walk after a hearty italian meal to burn some calories was welcome!

Overall, the hotel is a bit dated but that is not a huge negative in my eyes as everything else was perfectly fine. They dont advertise it as anything else but what it is.
