We stayed at Villa Adriana in the European summer of 2010. This place was absolutely amazing in every way!

From the moment we met Andrea and Valerio we could tell that our stay was going to be incredible, and it definitely was. It lived up to all our expectations plus more!

The rooms were extremely tidy and very roomy compared to many other European places. The location of Villa Adriana was great as it was just a stones throw away from the busy main road meaning that we were close to everything but didn't have to be right amongst it.

We both enjoyed the breakfast provided immensely as it more attuned to our Australian taste buds which by that stage of the trip was craving fresh food.

This place really is so beautiful to stay at. We even extended our stay by an extra 5 days. We would recommend it to everyone.

Valerio and Andrea are fantastic hosts at this brilliant B&B. It was the house Valerio grew up in so you really feel like you are welcome guests in their home. Our room and bathroom were enormous with a lovely view over neighbouring properties to the ocean in the distance. All of their restaurant and tour recommendations were spot on. The breakfast around the pool each morning a highlight too. The lovely short walk into Piazza was easy and well needed after a big dinner as was the pool in the scorching Mediterranean sun. Highly recommended.

My wife and I loved our 2 night stay at Villa Adriana. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the individual attention we received as well as the great suggestions for sights and dinner. Andrea and Valerio, the owners, sat down with us and helped us plan out excursions to maximize our time. The rooms are clean and lovely and the location is great - close enough to be in walking distance to the action in Sorrento but just outside all of the hustle and bustle. We highly suggest Villa Adriana. The nice relaxing pool and outside grounds were a great bonus.

From our arrival at the front gate to our departure Andrea and Valerio made us feel welcome and special. Nothing is a problem for this wonderful young couple. We felt a close affinity with Andrea as we are Australian too but my observations were that everyone staying were treated as very special, and Valerio is charming and fun. The rooms are gorgeous, our bathroom was bigger than our bedroom !! Our niece and nephew had a smaller bathroom but a massive outdoor terrace. Everything is laid on for the guests and Andrea and Valerio made absolutely wonderful suggestions for eateries, sights and tour bookings. Our two favourite eateries were Chanteclair and the one set in the citrus grove. Our day trip to Capri, organised by Andrea, was brilliant and I'd recommend that highly.
The location of the Villa was terrific, a slight uphill walk to get home but even with feet problems I managed it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

After 8 days of driving up and down the Amalfi Coast, visiting 3 other B&Bs my girlfriend and I wanted to finish our holiday with somewhere to relax and unwind before we returned home. With Villa Adriana we made the perfect choice.

After a slightly hectic drive through Sorrento City centre we found the Villa, nicely positioned away from the hustle and bustle but only a 5 minute walk in to the centre. We were greeted by Valerio and he immediately took my car keys, parked the car in the private car park and took our bags from us, excellent! We then met his wife Andrea. A lovely australian lady, she took us through the villa, showing us round and explaining all about Sorrento. As we had arrived early, our room wasnt ready, but we were told to take a seat on the patio area at the poolside and were given a cold drink and a selection of pastries to choose from while we waited, a lovely touch. After a short wait, our room was ready, and what a room it was! We had booked the queen suite on the top floor, it was decorated like a ships cabin and immaculate. Our private terrace had sunloungers and an outdoor shower, perfect in the heatwave that was happening at the time!

The pool area is lovely, plenty of sunloungers, and an undercover seated area where you are welcome to eat and drink. We bought lunch in sorrento and Valerio was more than happy for us to bring it back and use plates and glasses from the kitchen in the villa, what a host!

Valerio and Andrea are perfect hosts, they are always available, but they are never intrusive. If you need anything just ask, they are always willing to give advice on restaurants in town, we visited the ones we had time to and they were great. Valerios Mum and Dad own a shop in town, and when we visited to buy gifts we got a lovely welcome and a little discount, thankyou!

The Breakfast is delicious, cereals, pastries, fruit juices and tea/coffee are all plentiful. My girlfriend did struggle with 'buggatti' toaster but Valerio cheerfully helped out!

A stay at the Villa Adriana really is like staying in a family home, Valerio and Andrea have a small baby girl who came to see us at breakfast! The only down side of our stay was that we weren't there long enough to get to know our hosts better, have a cookery lesson and spend more time lounging by and in the pool! We'll certainly be booking here again!!

One last comment, we were stopped in the road just outside the Villa by a lady staying at the 'giant' Hilton next door. She wanted to know how we had managed to stay at such a wonderful place and how jealous she was! My advice...book early you wont regret it.
