Accidental visit to this restaurant ended up as Sorento’s excellent culinary experience. We feast on sea food with orzo, fruita de mare pasta, buffalo mozzarella, fruity red local wine, house special desert. A bit pricy, but absolutely worth it.

Delicious food, friendly staff, lovely milieu. The seafood antipasto was excellent. We also shared the mussels and beans which were wonderful. A perfect spot for a special evening.

Located close to the Piazza Tasso on Piazza San Antonino, this restaurant serves delicious pasta, fish and meat dishes as well as lovely appetizers, delicious desserts and good wine. The chef is very creative and his cooking is excellent. The management and wait staff are very helpful and attentive. I ate there several times during my stay in Sorrento and am looking forward to going there again on my next visit.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a 3 night trip to Sorrento. We were a little disappointed with the limited choice of places to eat, as many of the restaurants we had planned to visit were closed, as it is low season. We were looking for somewhere more modern and elegant than your typical Italian restaurant and with a more interesting menu.
We stumbled across this small but beautiful restaurant which fit all our criteria. We were welcomed in by the very friendly but not overbearing owner, who was very attentive and helpful with menu choice and descriptions.
I chose a very reasonably priced set 4 course menu whilst my husband plumped for a starter and main. We were both served an unexpected appetiser course of a beautifully prepared prawn with garnish and sauce which was very tasty. As my husband had less dishes to be served, the
Chef prepared a Small plate of my second course, for him to eat whilst I was eating my extra course. How thoughtful!
We had meat, fish and pasta dishes and a delightful desert. We both thought all the food was amazing and so beautifully and cleanly presented.
If you are looking for somewhere modern to eat which will make you will feel special, this is the place. Amazing food, fantastic service at a very reasonable price.

We were looking for good food in a modern setting and that is exactly what we found. It was a bit accidental, as we had heard of a place with a similar name and mis-typed it into google (the Italian masculine/feminine thing).

We had spent the day driving the Amalfi coast from Sorrento to Ravelo and back and were in need of something a bit different but not over the top.

Pepe Bianco (White Pepper) only opened in June 2017, is owned by a local business man, and run by the charismatic Fabio. He spent 3 and a half years running an Italian restaurant in Warwickshire before returning to his home turf to work for an old friend. Needless to say is English is good.

It was a Sunday night in mid November. We had booked for 830, and had a couple of other places nearby up our sleeve in case our first impressions didn't come up to scratch. We did the walk by, then checked out the competition and went back to give it a try.

There were just three other tables occupied when we arrived, but then it was a Sunday and the back end of the season. Fairly shortly after, it was just us, as the others had finished their meals.

So, us and Fabio. And what a great night. The menu has a traditional theme, but is presented in a contemporary way. The quality is exceptional, the prices reasonable.

It's an interesting mix of traditional food and contemporary ambience. Tres chic, cool decor, quality food, great location... nothing bad to say really, and I wish them well.

Ciao Fabio, bouna fortuna e a la prossima volta!
