Wow! We popped in here one night after very poor hotel food for a few nights in search of something more substantial....and boy, did we find it!
Walked in and no staff around to seat us so as it was busy we sat at an empty table. Soon we were given menu and took ages to choose from all the delicious sounding food. The sharing plates looked amazing but fussy boyfriend couldn't cope with that and so we went solo. I had the half rack of beef ribs - although it could have been the whole cow - and fussy boyfriend had steak with a Roquefort sauce which I would have wrestled him to the ground for. The portions were huge but service was friendly and attentive. The only things stopping full marks are not being greeted and seated and the seating being a bit of a squeeze for the 'larger' physique!
