We went to this hotel in March this year, weather was good so we sat out on the sun terrace by the ample pool, loungers were comfy and you could get reclining chairs also you got the sun all day although you had to move your lounger it was fine. The rooms were good so were the bathrooms, you got clean towels every day and the room was cleaned too.Meals were good with a lot of choice, but would advise going for meals when they started to serve as you found that they did not seem to fill trays up nearer end of time given for meals.Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. If you want a room that gets the sun in the morning get one facing the pool and on a high level. For the price we paid we would definitely go again.

Room Tip: Facing the pool get the sun in the morning till early afternoon, get a high floor

just returned from a 10 day stay at the rio park with my family both my parents are in there 80s and felt well at home there. The check in was fine no probs we were on the 2nd floor there our 12 the food was great for the first 4 days then dropped off the rooms were ok the drinks were very reasonable they have happy hour at different times of the day . The rio connection bar is very good pleasant staff cheap drinks and entertainment .The reviews regarding the more mature people topless sunbathing were rite there were quite a lot of them my 14yr old daughter was a bit surprised by them.I never saw any trouble down the yellow brick road none the less i told my parents to use the connection bar to enter the hotel the check in staff are very friendly all the toilets in the bars are clean in all a good hotel Benidorm rocks its great will be returning in august

First time at the Rio Park and not disappointed. Rooms are basic but clean. Air conditioning appeared not to be working, which may be a problem in summer. Food is plentiful with a good choice of dishes. Dining room never over-crowded. Plenty of space and sunbeds round the pool.Drinks are very reasonably priced but the entertainment leaves a lot to be desired. Better to go out to some of the local bars for the tribute acts. A lot has been said about theYellow Brick Road. Didn't find it at all threatening but it is grim, with boarded up bars and shops, graffiti and lots of dog mess! Watch where you're putting your feet!

this hotel does exactly what it says on the tin.
cheap, but not so cheerful, the food was acceptable but not exceptional, plentiful, but needed to be put in the microwave to make it WARM .
Entertainment is at the best poor, and the sight of the staff running about with their WILLY;S hanging out, doing the "FULL MONTY"really is not necessary, may not be bad if they were "big"lads. But it did entertain the older people.
The new bar, annexed ,to the hotel called,"CONNECTIONS" is splendid and comfortable ,good prices, and THEO and his barman are very good.
all in all ,adequate, but, would not go there again!
