The hotel has a good location next to a bus station, which will take you to the metro station, to go to any sight seeing...which will take approximatly half an hour and 8 euros for 2 per day.
Good sizes rooms, clean, nice bathroom.
The croissants for breakfast and bread is like 5 days old, must be useing the leftovers from dinner or any supermarket. Difficult to find ppl talking english (for heavens sake). Generally ok for a couple for a day or 2.

For a short overnight, close to Madrid airport, perfect place. Rooms are clean and package is what one expects at Holiday Inn Express. What really makes the difference is as always..the staff. Veronica at reception welcomes with a great smile, very positive attitude and no questions are too difficult as she helped me out with obtaing an internet copy of important customer contract. Restaurant is basic but fair, again very friendly staff.
WIFI works everywhere, easy. Comes at cost though.
If you cannot sleep in the city, perfect value for money and more, given the staff's attitude.
Entrance to hotel you cannot get to from the express road, take a 1st right after passing the hotel, it will be in that quarter.

I had a great experience with this hotel - I was just staying overnight in Madrid before flying out. The rooms are excellent - clean and spacious and the bathrooms are HUGE! The restaurant is standard fare, but they stayed open late to accomodate me which I really appreciated. The girl at the front desk scheduled my cab to the airport the night before for me. The only downside? The website advertises free shuttle service to the airport, which is why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival I learned there is no shuttle. It's only like 20 Euros by cab, but I was irritated by the false advertising. The room was inexpensive and clean, so if you ignore the lack of a shuttle, it was a great value.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I stopped over on my trip from Santander to Murcia. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who answered all my questions. The room was clean and very comfortable with clean linen provided. Dinner was inexpensive and although the menu is not extensive it was certainly tasty and hot. Served by a polite and friendly waiter. The complimentary breakfast was continental and basic (ceareal, toast, croissant etc) but enough for me. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you're passing through!

The location was probably not good if you didn't have a vehicle but that didn't bother me as I did have one.

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to stay here but the value was great. We arrived late from a drive back from Portugal and needed to fly out the next morning. The rooms were quiet, clean, and the man at the front dest was quite helpful. I only reserved 1 room with a full size bed and a sleeper sofa but he was able to give me 2 connecting rooms 1 with a full bed for my wife and myself and a room with 2 single beds for my young sons. One of the rooms was a handicap room and the drain in the shower smelled bad so we used the bathroom in the other room. food was ok, you don't want to walk outside the hotel, not dangerous, just in an industrial part of town. Parking was free, it is a 20 euro taxi ride to airport, 15 minutes.
