When in Spain, you MUST try tapas. It's not even a bargain. Sandemans Tapas tour/Bar crawl would give you a good experience of this. I'll start with the Tapas tour. We had an excellent tour guide by the way. His name is Jonathan from the Canary Islands. He gave us the history of Tapas and how the came to be part of Spanish culture. And then we got to visit 3 bars where tried some Tapas, of course with Sangria and a particular white wine (i do not remember the name). We visited Museo del Jamon (you must go here). So much meat than I have ever seen hahaha. This was a really great tour. Thanks Sandemans and Jonathan from Canary Islands!!

Had a great walking tour in the day and decided to do the Tapas night . First place was terrible. Not authentic Spanish food and definitely not Tapas. Bad Quality and not good service . I suggest you save the money and go to La Latina for real Tapas . The sangria was not good. The Second place was Museo de Jamon so nothing you wouldn't usually visit . The last place was interesting but disappointing. All in all , not worth the time and money . Any tapas place in La Latina is cheaper and better .

This tour is not worth the time and money. It says that you will visit 3 or 4 tapas bars. We were in two disappointing ones (low food quality) and ended up standing (no seats reserved) in a third (very crowded) one with a glass of very simple sangria and a few small bites of iberico ham. My advice: dare to go to a tapas bar on your own. It’s easy to see where quality is delivered. No idea what the menu says? No problem. Just order a small list of the cheap 2 – 4 euros tapas bites. And if you don’t like a specific portion, I’m sure someone else in your group will. The adventure is far greater. And what is more: you will save quite a bit of money.

What a good idea! We went on this tapas tour and met people from Germany, China and Denmark. The tapas were very good (we especially loved the 2nd place). We really had a lot of fun with the guide Charles and people we actually didn't know sharing some tapas. A must do !

This was a great tour and a lot of fun! I was with a group of 7 with ages ranging from low 20's to 50's and we all enjoyed it It was a good way to meet new friends and get some history of neighborhoods in Madrid. Charlotte was a great tour guide! We went to places we would not have seen otherwise and had a really good time. The food and drinks were more than enough. I would recommend this for sure!

I didn't know very well the concept of Tapas before going to Spain actually. We met Val and Tom (the 2 funny guides) and different little groups from Europe and Australia. I guess people were between 20 and 35 year old and we had a really really good time sharing tapas and drinks. Val was explaining to us a few things about the food and the history that were very interesting. Well this is definitely not a gastronomic and historical tour but this was such a good way to make friends, eat tapas, learn about the city and the food and GO PARTY! Definitely the best thing we did in Madrid.

That's my first time to write a review and I hope this is helpful for anyone who still hesitate to join this tapas tour.
First, I think it is a great idea to have this Tapas Tour, since Spain has lots of great food and drinks to enjoy, it is important to let some local people to bring you to the right places.
Second, we had a great time and really enjoy the food. We had tried some Tapas in Barcelona and the Tapas in this Tapas Tour are definitely better than what we had in Barcelona. The tour guide Val and Tom are very nice people, they are very friendly and told us many stories of Madrid. They brought us to three places and tried many kinds of traditional Spanish food and drinks. After this tour, they recommend some great places we can go in the following days in Madrid. It is worthy to spend 50 euros to taste that much kinds of food and drinks. This is absolutely a highlight in our trip!
Finally, after this Tapas Tour in Madrid, my friend and I even think about develop a food tour in Beijing! :)

This was a wonderful pre-night out with Tom and Val. They brought us to 4 very busy bars frequented by "young" Spanish people and we tried different tapas (We ate a LOT !!). We made friends, had a lot of fun and got a few eplanation about Spanish culture. Super !!!!!!!

This wonderful tour with Val and Tom is definitely a highlight to our trip in Madrid. We were lucky to be a small group of 4 ppl, with two lovely and friendly ladies from France.

We went to a total of three places with substantial amount and great variety of drinks and food, which is for sure more than enough. Val and Tom are considerate enough to make sure the food meets everyone's expectation and preference, and they also gave us interesting explanations and stories about the Spanish culture behind. There was one restaurant, a truly hidden gem, that was located on a second floor of a business building. There is no way we could find this restaurant ourselves without the guidance of Val and Tom, and this place offered real delicacies as well as new experiences ---- a kind of fresh cider that you need to pour it highly or use a fancy little pump to make it bubbly.

In the end we were talking about our itinerary for our staying in Madrid, and Val was nice enough to offer our a little bonus tour: He took us to a local flee market the next day and showed us around. And before we left Madrid, we went out chilling with Val and Tom again, partially for celebrating my bday too. It was real good memories! Keep up the great work of this awesome tour, and hopefully we will have chance to hang out again in the future!
