Very bad experience, hotels not good , foodmiserable, guides NOT friendly. We use tghis company in the past, not good anymore.
One day the trapsatur people did not land up at nearby Hotel and no information. After some irritated talks with them and the receptionist we rebooked for next day. They were late in picking up and in leaving. The tour seemed rushed . Guide was knowledgeable.
i am afraid I have to say that the TrapSatur tour must be avoided.
Half day (5 hrs) trip to Toledo. We had hotel collection which we thought would make the 8.30 start easier. Bus arrived on time but all it did was to take us to a ‘holding depot’ for Trapsatur in centre of Madrid.
We were taken to a waiting area where we paid and were allocated on to our tours.
After a 25 minute wait, we were finally off.
Our guide was very knowledgable, apparently doing this tour 6 times a week, but as a result, was robotic in her presentation style. To make matters worse, everything was first in Spanish then in English.
As with the previous reviewer for this trip, there was a ‘comfort break’ just outside Toledo where there was the opportunity to by tacky souvenirs. Many other coaches were here.
The Toledo tour was pretty rushed, up the escalator into the city, walk to centre with a couple of information stops and a tour round the magnificent cathedral.
Then, into another small church to spend 20 minutes looking at a painting and back to the coach.
10 minutes after setting off there was another stop at a souvenir place where they had craftsmen inlaying gold into some of the jewellery. Unsurprisingly, we were then led through the shop where they hoped we would buy stuff.
Back to Madrid by 2.00
The guide certainly knew he stuff, but for €58 per person, this was pretty poor.
Don’t bother with this tour!
