Helped by the beautiful weather and a lively band playing, this place wasn't too bad. It had a positive vibe about it. It's almost (imo) a bit like Trafalgar square. Lots of groups meeting there and some nice fountains. Worth a walk through for sure.

A very popular place, with something for everyone. Street performers, shops, architecture, statues, life!
Go and be part of it

This crescent moon shaped open space is very busy night and day. Lots of shops and restaurants here and on all the side streets leading to and from it. 3 minutes walk along Calle Major to Plaza Major. Lovely glass roofed metro entrance. People dressed up as superheroes and Disney characters to entertain kids.
