“Excellent restaurant, outstanding meat, good service”
Reviewed 31 March 2012

I have gone to this restaurant several times with family and it has become my favourite when I want to eat meat in a good environment.
The restaurant speciality is the meat, that they become from a farm in North Spain that selects carefully their best meat for them. We were never disappointed any time we chose it and this place is one of the best in Madrid for this product. They also have other good main courses with fish, etc as very good starters. As dessert their speciallity is the apple cake (takes 20 minutes to prepare so order in advance) but others are also excellent.
The location is a bit outside from the city next to the highway to Barcelona, so you will need a car to go there. However, the restaurant is usually full (great food with reasonable prices), so reservation is recommended.

“Very traditional restaurant”
Reviewed 15 March 2012

Good food with good wine. They got the basics right. Nothing too fancy but if you want good food with decent prices then this is the place.

“CLASSIC WITH GOOD GROUNDS”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

The office where I work is located 1km from this restaurant, so it's a few years that we take out top clients to this establishment. Don Pedro is always there, smiling, coordinating the waiters and ready to give suggestions -if enquired, and greeting the guests. If you go there for the first time and you are not vegetarian, you MUST try the "carne a la piedra", fantastic Galician beef meat that is served quite rare but with individual hot vulcanic stones to cook it more at your own taste. They always bring some free starters: roasted almonds, chorizo sausage, crisps which fill you up already while you are choosing. Garlic shrimps and grilled veggies are also very good. With the coffe you always get some free sweets and the liquors to digest. The decoration is very old fashion, '80 style, but it gives a different charme to the place rather than the usual hiper-design restaurants. parking can be difficult. The waiters do not speak much English, but there is a menu in English. The service is a bit stiff. The location is not great (next to the highway). Quite pricy for Madrid, but it's a place to impress your clients and eat well at the same time. Or also to impress your wife/hsuband on a special occasion.

“Superb Food and Service”
Reviewed 11 January 2012

I cannot add very much more than the other reviewers who have found this place outstanding. I had the T- bone which comes cooked rare with a hot stone to cook it just the way you like it. I must say that the Spanish tend to descrbe their meats different form the Brits, for example no T bone, in fact no bone at all, there was no fillet as you would expect in a T bone. In Spanish they also have "Solomllo" which they translate into "Sirloin" it is not Sirloin or as it is known in the States a "New York Strip" it is a "Fillet steak". Never the less the meat is stupendous, and the service is second to none.
Well worth a visit.
I must say we would never have found the restaurant if it was not foTripadvisor and it's reviewers, we really do depend on them for our travel experiences no matter where we are in the world. Take a bow !!

“Closest restaurant to Auditorium”
Reviewed 28 November 2011

Great food, great service. Spanish cuisine with a changing menu as well as standard items. My colleagues and I ate there twice in one week; specials were different each time. The restaurant will send a car to the Auditorium to pick you up if you have a big group or its a slow night at the restaurant. Nice little patio if the weather is good (about 8 months a year), but be prepared for smokers on the patio, since smoking is no longer allowed inside restaurants.
