Please don't take too much notice of the negatif comments. This was our forth stay at this hotel, our first stay was when it had just opened, and I can tell you it's getting better and better. The staff, the rooms and the food are fantastic. There were only two things that I would comment about. The first was that the hotel gave some fantastic deals for this summer, and it worked, the hotel was full, all the rooms taken ans most had three or four people per room (2 adutls and 2 children). The hotel coped well with this for everything breakfast etc.. however there was a roblemat the pools. Not enough space for everyone, on top of this the large dutch comunity bagged the sun beds at 8.00 am (1 hour before the pools open !) to use them only half of the time. This is not right , as people pay for a five star hotel expecting space by the pool to relax. I think the deals were to cheap and attracted more poeple than they expected. The second problem with this hotel is the sound proofing, which we have known about from all our visits, you can hear the night club (even with a pool view room) you can hear the guy next door snorrrrr all night and you can hear everything that goes on in rooms up to 6 or 7 rooms away if couples are haveing funn !!!
Over all a great hotel, we will be back

This was the last stop on our honeymoon, we came here to relax after Milan-Venice-Barcelona. First of all, we took the hotel with best reviews, highest prices and the maximum amount of stars so our expectations were high.

When we arrived by car, no-one was meeting us or offering to take our bags, even after we checked in. The (non-smoking) room smelled of ashtray, so bad we god headaches. I called the desk and they offered a "refreshing" of the room. No apologies here. We checked out the hotel, and when we got back they've sprayed it full with perfume! Now it felt like a perfume bottle full of cigarette butts - not romantic at all. In addition, their attitude was astounding: "we don't have any other rooms, but I'll give you this one". No apologies, no nothing. Instead they were making fun of us "But we cannot assure you the last guest hasn't smoked there as well." You'd think a five-star hotel would be able to afford a cleaning lady with a sense of smell.

Of course, no ice-machine, and the bar tender answered with the exact opposite of their advertising. He said "that is not possible" when I asked for a bucket of ice to cool down our water. A vase that hadn't been cleaned for a couple of years (full of spider web and dust) got to do as a bucket instead. When I poured the ice there, it exploded! We called a cleaning lady who cleaned it up, leaving small pieces of glass on the bath room floor.

My newlywed wife is chronically scared of all small things crawling, so I quietly had to kill three cockroaches she didn't notice. The location is a bit off, you need your own car to get to town (there's a beach bus but that doesn't help in the evening). But breakfast and the pool area are great. Too bad the service is on the level of a Greek 2-star hotel.

We arrived tired and worn out after a long flight. The staff, starting with the parkingservice were excellent. The high level continued all the days of our stay. The breakfast buffet were brilliant, our teenage-son finally absolutely loved it. I would recommend to friends and familyl and we are definitely comming bact. A very very nice stay.

We spent 4 nights here April 10-14 2009 and can only say it was excellent!! We did not have a reservation so we talked to front desk who then called the hotel manager,who showed us 2 room types and we were sold.upon returning to front desk we were given a free night for our stay.The hotel staff is the best we have ever encountered from reccomended day trips to smiles and nice conversations from all.The Breakfast buffet is beyond belief with everything concievable including Cava.There is a shuttle to town or driving takes 10 minutes. Please give it a try we reccomend it highly

I booked 3 nights at the Dolce for my sister and I beginning of Septembre. We found the positive things to be our room with the great view on the golf green and the sea, the large bed, everything was perfectly clean. The pools and their surroundings are great and clean also. The breakfast buffet was luxurious with plenty of fresh fruits, bread, juices, etc. even more enjoyable if taken outside with the see view. The SPA was great as well and there were hardly anyone, probably because we were beginning septembre.
The negative things are the remote location of the hotel, no shuttle service, the noise of the open disco on saturday and sunday nights, the price of the drinks at the pool bar (3.50eur for a glass of water!!!)
Going there is really nice if you have a car enabling you to go to the center of Sitges (really nice by the way, walk along the sea and in the small streets, having some tapas and ice creams...) and if you go during the low season (we still enjoyed 27D at 11:00 am...). to sum up we were quite happy of this hotel regarding the price we pais (250eur per person for 3 nights).
