We had a lovely evening here, eating far too much food as we were tempted by too many things on the menu. Three starters was probably a bit excessive, and although we loved the huge mozarella and tomato salad, liked the cod brandade, the squid was just ok, and we could have done without it. For mains I had the monkfish, based on the reviews I'd read - it was tasty, but the amount of fish was a bit limited once you picked it off the bone, and I would have preferred a fillet. Hubby had beefsteak and peppers, which was you self-cooked on the hot plate they served it on - nice, however, he commented that it was quite salty, and the quality of the beef could have been better. We really enjoyed the chocolate ganache dessert and the wine. Overall, a lovely evening with nice, but not outstanding, food (but was the best we had in Girona).
