The hotel was ideal for transfers from the airport as both the 46 and the aerobus stopped virtually outside the door. We also enjoyed the Magic Fountain display wich was just around the corner. The Arenas (Bullring converted to shopping mall) was just across the Placa d'Espanya and had a good supermarket in the basement as well as a food court with cafe type food. By taking the escalator right to the top of the mall you get great views of Barcelona landmarks and there is a chice of restaurants and bars witha view. The only downside to the hotel was that there was nowhere to sit outside such as a terrace and no kettles in the rooms. Us Brits and our brews!
