Quite a walk to the centre but on the way we found wonderful architecture, Mam i Teca for dinner. Hospital de Sant Pau a must for a visit. Our room was spacious, comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Staff kind and helpful. Take care on the metro - gangs of thieves - particularly when crowded.

Had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel and found it entirely to our liking. The staff were very helpful and polite always looking to make sure we had everything we needed.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a good state of repair. Bathrooms nicely decorated and an excellent shower. A minor issue was the poor lighting in the rooms. It would be nice to at least have the choice to have it brighter.

The location of the hotel makes it important to ensure you head off in the right direction as a wrong turn can make you think what's all the fuss about! Provided you seek advice and plan your route you'll soon be enjoying the delights of the city.

Overall delighted with the choice and would recommend it to others.

Confriming what others have said that Villa Emilia is a perfect place to stay to enjoy a visit to Barcelona. The location is very convenient to the bus from the airport, the metro and just walking on Gran Via. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Make sure to enjoy the terrace in the afternoon. I would highly recommend the restaurant for those evenings when you want to quiet dinner with some nice jazz. Because of the weather, I ate at the restaurant two or the three nights I was there.

Room Tip: My room was on the 5th floor on the street side because I requested the street but there is some noise...I thought the room was nice and very clean.

We spent five nights at the Hotel Villa Emilia and were delighted. Excellent location a block from Rocafort metro station, and walking distance to las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with great recommendations for dinner. Comfortable bed and very nice interior design in the rooms and common areas.
