We stayed at this very exceptional hotel in October, it was WONDERFUL. The location is great , slightly set back from La Rambla so less noise. It has so much charm as I understand it to have been the formerly the mansion of a wealthy family involved in the tabaco trade many years prior. They had a lovely rooftop terrace where you would have drinks and light meals, and we also had a terrace off of our room, which you can request. The location is a 10, the room layout, cleanliness maintenance is a 10, the staff members were so friendly and helpful , as they were in the morning breakfast area also a 10, the breakfast buffet was fresh and wonderful, lots of fruit, pasty , cheese hot entree choices also a 10. It was so close to everything we could walk to shops, the mercado del la Boqueria, and to all the nearby very interesting neighborhoods. Highly recommend! Everything about this property is a 10/10!!

Excellent service from start to finish. We stayed 4 nights and were not displeased at all. Benjamin at the front desk was superb and most helpful at resolving an issue we had with a tour service. The rest of the staff were also helpful and most accomodating and the day manager made sure our birthday celebration was taken care of. The room was very comfrortable and the location perfect at La Rambla.

The hotel is fabulous! This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Excellent beds, well appointed, complimentary robes/slippers and water. Rooms are beautiful, with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and wonderful beds. An on-site spa and pool. While we weren’t hungry enough to try it, they have an amazing breakfast buffet. An extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location is just around the corner from La Rambla yet the street it faces seems so much less congested. Near metro stops and more eateries and shops than you can imagine. Anytime we’re ever in Barcelona again we will be staying here.
