We had tried earlier in the week to get in here, but the interesting area in the front was full and at the back there were some works going on. We finally got in at 22:30 one day. After finding a place to sit at the back room (hot, stuffy, and sticky), no one approached us at all for 30 minutes even to say welcome and offer a menu. Tables next to us and behind us were approached and served but not ours.
We finally got someone's eye and managed to order a pitcher of Sangria (which was horrible) took another 15 minutes to come. We asked for a menu at the same time which never came, but we looked around and decided we could order just the standard you get all over (i.e. Hams and Cheeses and Calamari) .... No one came to take our food order.... at all! Even after getting the waiters eye.
Finally after one hour we paid for our Sangria and left. Totally disgusted at the service and glad we had actually not spent more money here.
We noted the place in the front was full of locals and also noted that the Spanish speaking clientele seemed to be served and approached regularly and we were ignored point blank by the waiter even when trying to pay. We actually had to go hunt him down to pay.
The place was dirty, sticky and what we saw of the food out on tables did not look appetising and Sangria was awful. The room in the back is hot, stuffy, sticky and actually quite bad - at least a fan or two would have helped and doesn't cost a fortune... I would not recommend at all to anyone.
The menu options, though many in number actually just boiled down to sliced meats and cheese mostly...nothing special (we actually on leaving grabbed a menu on another table to have a look), I could do better going to the supermarket and getting the same cheeses and meats. A truly horrible experience compared to the rest of the holiday.
Go to the place opposite and nearby instead, you can see my review of those separately.
