Was in Barcelona for 4 days, hotel was very nice, one but of advice don't stay in room facing road on level one, very noisy with people walking pulling suitcases or skateboarding and homeless slept right under room, I tried to tolerate but last night was the worst with car pulling up and blasting music til 5am. So suggest get higher room or one away from road front. Breakfast was ok, room was spacious and modern, location was fantastic, one street away from las ramblas. Arrived a couple of days after attack and felt really safe with police everywhere. Barcelona is a beautiful party city, plenty of places to eat and plenty of hidden bars to drink. Used subway to get to sagrada familia was very simple and quick. We walked to beach from hotel, was long walk but pleasant. Hiring sun beds was a rip off if your not staying there long ... 30€ for two beds and umbrella.

Very nice, clean and quiet room with a nice bathroom. Pool on the roof was good with a superb view and the location was perfect for us. Staff were helpful as I lost a key card at one point, also they showed us the best routes to get around to all the things we wanted to see. Really good place to stay!!

The hotel itself is rather simple. The furnishings are new, everything is clean and tidy. The rooftop pool is more of a large bathtub than an actual pool (bit of a hyperbole), but it is beautifully designed nonetheless. Lastly, the location of the hotel is perfect. To summarise, I would say this hotel offers very good value for money, would definitely consider visiting again.

We found this Hotel on Google maps and ended up phoning for a price.
Reasonable price for Barca.
On booking in the staff were polite and very welcoming, they all spoke good English which was easier for us as we hadn't booked through a travel agent so we didn't know what we were getting into, so to speak.
The hotel is great, very clean and very contemporary. There was a lovely seating area and a a internet area in the lobby area and there was a sun lounge area through the patio doors, plenty of seating all around the sun lounge area.
Corridors were a little dark but this is because of the conservation of energy as this Hotel is all about the carbon footprint.
We had a triple room which was very light and there was plenty of space all around, again the rooms were very clean and the bathroom area was nice and spacious, no bath only a shower.
There is no bar at this Hotel (which was a little surprising) but they have Vending machines, (which have Beer in) and we raided them every night, my daughter was in charge of that and everyone had to have something every night.
There is a restaurant but this is for the breakfast only, but there is plenty of choice on the Las Ramblas.
The Hotel is only a 3 min walk to the Las Ramblas and is in a brilliant position, we walked almost everywhere. There is a Metro at the end of the street, that will take you to Stada Familier and Parc Guell. Me and my daughter walked to the Aquarium and the beach was a 6€ taxi ride (which you can flag down right outside the Hotel).

Hotel is 3***, but deserves 4****
Staff 4****
Cleaners were brilliant 5*****
Location 5*****

Andante is located in a convenient area not far from Las Ramblas and the Placa de Les Drassanes. The hotel is small but efficient, nice staff, nice breakfast for 12 Euros additional charge. The basic rooms are average size for Europe, very modern, good Wifi, exercise room available, and lots of closet spaces. All bathroom parts in good working order, modern, good water pressure for shower and lots of hot water.

There exact location is pretty non-descript, and it seems to be a residential area with parks nearby and many locals as well as tourists. But, Las Ramblas is only 10 minutes' walking.

Overall, a very good place. Price was on the moderate end for Barcelona.
