Agree with previous review from SLM2, location is excellant walking distance from the main town, Las Ramblas etc, room was cosy did miss not having the ability to make a coffee when wanted too. Please be aware that it can't be reach directly from the main line from the airport, you either have to change onto another main line into Estació de França or the metro into Barceloneta.Staff at the hotel were very friendly & halpful at all times. Good little hotel.

Hotel well located with helpful staff. Close to the water front, las ramblas, ciutat vella and Sants train station (for Sitges). Restaurants and shops around.
Rooms have all mod com (no kettle), bit small but ok for short stays. Good water pressure in the bathroom. No noise proof doors so can get noise from both corridor and street. Try to avoid rooms 231, 331 etc as they are right in front of the lifts and the stairs.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms 231, 331 etc as they are right in front of the lifts and the stairs.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was worried that it was going to be of poor quality, due to it's small lobby and seedy street appearance.

However I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into my room of the quality of this hotel. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and had modern fittings. I don't think any of the rooms offer much of a view, other than the street below however. Unfortunately I lost the photos I took of the room itself... Park has a boutique feel, and the wooden spiral staircase leading all the way to the top of the building is really neat.

The staff downstairs at the front desk and bar were great. I had a parcel delivered from amazon.com to the hotel and it was delivered to my room.

The best thing about this property is the amount of things you can do in the local area surrounding the hotel. There are several restaurants nearby, cafe's and boutiques crammed into the alleyways behind the hotel.

A short stroll from the front of the hotel is the Barcelona waterfront / harbour area which is great on a sunny day.

The hotel is also easily accessible to the Barceloneta metro station which is a 5minute walk across the road. Alternatively you can walk to the Jaume I metro station in 10 or so minutes, through the alleys behind the hotel, this is a magical walk.

We dined most nights at the restraunt in a street beside the hotel called Salero, which served Asian Fusion as well as local type food.

I would love to visit Barcelona again in the near future, and this hotel is a fantastic, mid-range establishment to base yourself.

Only just back from a 4 day stay in Park Hotel, Barcelona. Fantastic location, right in the heart of Barceloneta area with the port and beach just a few mins walk from the hotel. Park Ciutadella only 2 mins walk to the left of the hotel which is home to Barcelona Zoo. La Rambla is just a 10 min walk and the area is safe and busy so if you're looking for a quiet hotel maybe move further outside the city center.

We had a double room on the second floor which was small yet spacious with opening windows and a city view over the bar next door to the hotel (which has great food and drinks for reasonable prices). Staff were welcoming although we didn't interact with them much as we were mostly out. Room was cleaned daily, spotless bathroom, towels everyday, great shower/bath. All around great value for money.

Hotel is easily accessible from the Airport with the commuter train leaving every half hr. Just note you have to switch at Sants station and get a connecting train to Estacio de Franca which is directly facing Park hotel. Cost approx 4euro and take about 30mins. Overall I have nothing bad to say. If I was to be picky I'd mention that the hairdryer in the bathroom wasn't great so don't rely on not bringing your own and we could hear through the walls at times but nothing that bothered us. Great Hotel highly recommend it!

This hotel is in a great location, right at the edge of the old centre. Loads of restaurants and bars are nearby. I had a single room, and the sleeping area was as big as the bathroom, which was a first for me.

The bed was of mediocre quality, you could feel the springs in your back. The room was clean though and the service + breakfast good. Price quality is not the greatest, but I paid more because of a congress. All in all it was a good stay, but I think there's better places to be found.
